Finalised kitchen island cum dining table: Island top will be in in sparkle white. Main body in white. Dining table in imperial black (Indian granite).

Toilet vanity cabinet: White top wif black drawers. TV feature wall: Green portion - display shelves in black. Yellow portion - white. Drawers n area above console will be in black mirror finishing. Main tv mounting backing area will be in shade of grayish silver.

Yup. Must hv a focus point to make the sofa stands out. Am tinking either dark grey seat n backrest, light grey cushions wif design (strips) or; black seat, backseat grey wif design (strips), cushions black.. See how bah. Haven decided on dis sofa yet.. Same for bed. Still scouting for the right ones

Low wall for balcony cosy corner tiled up: *A full height glass panel wif glass door will be installed at this low wall to create a separate cosy/smoking corner cum balcony at the kitchen windows area. Plumbing works (installation of new water pipes) will commence this Wed, followed by painting. Next week will commence installation of all power points/sockets, as well as false ceilings and light points. Carpentry will follow suit. Will be gg shopping this weekend to select all the sanitary accessories and lights.

Others- Main gate: Will be in full white wif single leaf, ie unlike the conventional one big/one small design. The strips will be modified into square bars, rather than the slightly curvy type. Will add on some small wood strips here and there to further beautify the gate design. Window grills: Simplest design. Neat and sleek. Will be in white. PD door for common toilet entrance: Door frame will be in grayish/silver tone. Chose 2-panel instead of 4-panel to make it look simpler.

Yet to finalise on the tv feature wall. Standard design is floating console wif a full height feature wall. Had asked Roy to tink thru how to add on and improvise wif wall shelves. Draft idea:

MBR wardrobe/study: Main wardrobe will be in white. Similarly, strips highlighted in yellow will be in black. Likewise, the study table will be in black (wif steel U-shaped leg). For this black, I had chosen a wood grain patterned black. Felt a few wood grain laminates and this one is the preferred cos the grain is nice and yet doesn't feel coarse on the surface, ie can still comfortably write on it without leaving any marks on either the laminate's surface nor the writing papers:

Spent more than half a day yest discussing wif Roy over the finalization of the carpentry. But still, too many details and adjustments made. Only managed to finalise on the main lobby area storage/display cabinets and the MBR wardrobe/study area. Main storage/display cabinets: Main body color will be white. Strips highlighted in yellow will be black. There'll be 2 display shelves (wif black mirror as backing). On these shelves, there'll be 1 hollow box each which is movable. Can shift ard the box to vary the display patterns. Something like wat is shown below: Laminates chosen for the cabinets:

Urs is at lower floor, so better to hv grills to be safe. I'm ok wif no grills at MBR n kitchen cos these sides shld be safe since I'm at 12th floor..

Think we are using the same grills. As I'm staying at the topmost floor, I'm only installing the grills at the common corridor sides. MBR n kitchen no grills
