have anybody ever use parquet or laminate as bay window top? can it be done?

Hi need some advice from the experts here. If I am arranging for different contractors to do the renovation (not using ID), what sequence should I follow? painting - installation of feature wall - laying bay window top - decking - wall paper - lights - varnishing. Is this ok?
