keke... my office wear is not formal too.. i just put on a dress (cotton kind) and with heels that's all. hubby just wore long sleeved shirt with jeans. in fact a short sleeve will do but he cant find any in his wardrobe on that day so i guess a nice top and a pair of nice jeans will do for ladies too (for matinee shows) yup. but the magical show wasnt wat i had expected... they corporated some childish laser shows in it... i expected to see a conductor conducting music and with the fountain responing to it... only a few mins was like that... but there's fire from certain outlet that adds in good lights for me to take videos and photos shall upload it and share with all of u perhaps 2morow.

of course ACAP (as cheap as possible) is it?! which yr was that? tink i saw it in the official phantom website. guess they've retired? i like the cast i saw last saturday though Christine was the reserve for the main lead. but i tink she did very very well! and the guy (her sweetheart. is the name Raoul?) is sooooo cute! ok... i know i'm shallow... but i really kind of feel sad for the phantom... perhaps if i'm christine, i may choose phantom

how cheap is cheap? 1 thing i'm afraid is that after u paid the deposit they might add in this increase in tax or that increase in hotel cost and then ended up not soo cheap afterall!

i agree with the showing respect part... but it's really a great difference as compared to those in aussie. saw ppl wearing those long gowns and suits to the Sydney Opera House for broadway musical plays. told hubby that we shd have bought the cheapest ticket and went in there for an experience but too bad we do not have any formal clothing with us at that time

can lend to me too if there's any dvd? or where can i get the dvds? tink i got hooked by Phantom had wanted to watch when i was in Sec 4 but no $$$ then... so finally waited after more than 10 yrs for it to come... the whole play is about 2.5hrs inclusive of 20 mins break. u wont feel it's that long.. it's just like watching a movie except this is live! also, the phantom appears at places where u dun tink he will appear! u just need to wear smart casual will do. Singapore is unlike other countries where ppl will dress well just for a play but i did try to dress up lah with heels and dress... and imagine how my legs ached after the whole event! (coz i went to Sentosa after that and with quite a bit of walking on a 3-inch high heels!)

ok lah... though sometimes i cant catch it too... but it's really interesting to see all the stage effects and their performance. they can clear the stage and set up with the next scene's props with just a few seconds! Great vocals too! Impressive!

wrong spelling only hmm... travel by coach? thot go by ferry roughly how much for 2 pax if it's by the method u suggested. i wanna buy the sound tracks for phantom!! wanted to buy the program on that day but hubby dun allow me any websites for downloading the sound tracks?!

er... rendang not cheap leh... if i bring him there then i have to forgo my other trips my hubby fell asleep too for a while during the first half and i have to keep a watch on him! but he was fascinated by all the stage effects etc... and i enjoyed the songs a lot! Odie, no need to dress up a lot... coz we watched in the afternoon so it's less formal. unlike in aussie where u have to put on gowns and suits to go to watch a broadway play!

can help me ask ur missy what's the ending? i missed the last episode... yesterday went to watch Phantom of the Opera! IT WAS FANTASTIC!!!! though the lead actress was the reserve but she performed very well! yet i can still catch hubby falling asleep for a few minutes during the first half of the show... oh ya... i went to Sentosa for the musical fountain after that. it was full house! the performance wasnt what i expected... still i managed to take a few photos and videos although it was too dark and i didnt have a base to stabilized my digital camera for good nite photos...

hubby likes the shark at the wisma atria tank. he always say he wanna see his shark when we passed by there

tink u'll tempt urself more than u tempt me dun forget i just went to a trip last yr (so fast close to half yr ago liaoz!) i intend to stay at least 5 days there if i go HK i walked soo much in Sydney that my socks got torn and ended up gotta buy more socks over there! :P dun worry... i steady one... can walk very long! sure got lah!! u tink like Spore meh? 3 days can finish everyting liaoz! coz all attractions in Spore are more or less repeats! :P
