Hi your pics order are in a mess but your house is beautiful after Reno. Is the living room floor laminates or teak strips?
-
I see. Use induction hob it is best not to leave any magnetic pot and pan on the hob after cooking.
Why can't leave the pan and pot?

Kirk when u expect to complete renovation? Mom wants to visit.

Hardly cook and you install induction hob, waste money. Electric water heater must wait at least 5 minutes for water to heat up, long wait comparing to gas water heater, hot water comes in less than 10 seconds, if you worry about water pressure, the secret is to get your plumber to run bigger incoming pipe (bigger pipe bigger pressure) to water heater, same theory as using storage heater (bigger tank bigger pressure).
Albt, have to install induction hob. Wifey is a kitchen idiot, for safety reason I hv to install induction hob else she might burn the entire house down even though just cooking instant noodle lol. I experience kitchen fire before, the fire turns into huge fire when u just happens to turn your head the other way.

Hi, I'm staying at a 5-room flat and two of the rooms have air-con in a system 2 configuration.
I intend to install a new air-con for the third room but I understand that we are allowed to have 1 compressor per flat only right? I also do not want to remove the existing air-con to install a system 3 air-con as the current air-conditioning system is still quite new.
Am I only left with the option of a portable air-con? It's not my best solution as it is quite cumbersome and use up too much of my room space.
Appreciate your expert advice one this. Thanks in advance!
I try to help u but I ain't no expert. If u were living in those newer flats say less than 12 years flat those with aircon ledge already build by hdb ...I saw plenty of units had install two condensers means these newer flats allow more than one condenser. I'm not sure those much older flats though. Next option u probably need those window mount aircon blower, don't need condenser at all and only take up part of your window space only.

now you are making me nervous.

Hi Val, my bathroom floor tiles are actually grey..only the wall tiles are light beige. They looks normal color in the daylight but if at night i turn on the existing light in the bathroom. Gee...the whole bathroom tiles looks light pinkisk beige??! Thats the moment i got confuse that both our tiles looks very similar..haha. I upload here for u to see, hope u dont mind. Kirk,
I see every appliances in your house are using electricity, water heater, induction hob, system 3 aircon, fridge, computers, tv, home theater system, run the whole list of items through your electrician and install enough 20A breaker in your DB. I'm also worry on your electrical bill too.
Get your electrician to test run water heater, induction hob and aircon together to determine whether it will trip the circuit breaker.
Thanks Albt i will check with my con...i think we better try to cut down on using electricity too. But what mainly runs in the house i suspect are lights, cos we hardly cook too...really rare i guess.

Thanks for the info.
Albt, I only used system3...18000 for the living is kindda not power enough but is just for emergency use when guest coming. I believe most of the time that blower will stay idle. For our Master bedroom i did not used 2 blower although it is advisable to do so but me and wifey feel too many blower is ugly and also expensive in terms of the need to purchase system4. Anyway aircon is luxurious items for us, guess we will only really used them when super intolerable to the weather.

looks like my turn is coming soon.
Hey Morgan, i guess is your showtime soon.
Can't wait to see this happens!

Thanks denimart, we chose this tile because it is close to dirt colour. Less noticeable if it gets dirty.
Today I was at my place again looking at my bathroom floor tiles, suddenly i recall your bathroom floor tiles...I was like..."Aaaaa, no wonder I said I like your tiles!!! Omg cos our floor tiles could possibly be the same or similar???!" lol
-
Hi denimart, you mean my floor tiles or May's floor tiles?
Hi valerie I mean your bathroom floor tiles are nice, somehow I like this type of lighter color for bathroom...feel v spacious and comfortable.
