Yes. Big space...Thanks to my parents. It's hard to find such a big house in this location anymore. Hope everything will turn out nice in the end.

The kitchen was actually much smaller now since we don't really cook(except instant noodles). Anyway, if you know where is the famous Ng Ah Sio Bak Kut Teh, you will definitely know where I am located at. Hahahaha. It's the one and only block with such view and of course high high floor.

The state of the house when those irresponsible china students left. We threw away everything. They were told to left by the 30th of March but left only on the 1st of April.

Basically, this house is owned by my parents since the very start. If I am not wrong, it's almost 30 years. Then few years back, we decided to rent it out. It was rented to some china students and the state of the house when they hand back the house to us was really horrible, not kidding. (Will post the pictures later) I was searching for ideas as well as ID when i came across this forum. IT WAS SO ADDICTIVE! It was last December when I was studying for my exams but...I couldn't resist coming here to look at other ppl's houses. Then I contacted a few "famous" firms mentioned here. Everyone here went through the same thing so i shall skip that part. Then after 3 months, we have decided on a firm and the ID was the one who did up my brother's house in the past. Renovation officially starts on 2 April...till now. Everything will be ready only by mid july! SO LONG RIGHT?! We weren't in any rush so that's fine with us as long as the outcome is good. Let the pictures do the talking...

This is the floor plan. Looking through most of the t-blogs created by many here, I was tempted to create one too. It seems really fun. Hence, I have decided to do this:) By today, reno work started long time ago and it's already half done. So...

Yah. I think we did a lot of hacking, building of walls and also lots of carpentry work. That's our initial budget though. With our requirements, that pricing will be impossible.

Hi, chanced upon your T-blog and thought that your renovation cost is so much cheaper as compared to ours when both are 5 room resale.

Thanks even though I thought that it wasn't really nice to change ID in the middle of discussion but due to some other problems, they aren't reply so i guess are we going to choose someone else.
