They cost around $2700, if I remember correctly. I think I mentioned the price in an earlier post. They are from room of woods.

The fan has been sold to lisic! Thank you and all the best for your reno.

Hi everyone, after a long hiatus, I'm back...to sell my fan! The person who "choped" it the last time didn't follow through, so it's up for grabs again. It's a white KDK baby fan, 44-inch blade, remote-controlled. We bought it from Goh Ah Bee at $170, with a year's warranty. It's brand new and still in its box, untouched. If you are interested, please PM me, thanks!

Hi, I did not monitor while they were cleaning, but they did clean the windows, toilets, etc. If you are interested, you can call them to ask for the details. http://www.homecleanz.com/

Hey it's from Ikea.

No worries, glad you found your answer from my earlier post. The person who attended to us who Zhen Li. He's a very sincere and nice guy so do look for him when you are there.

Thanks, that's a huge compliment. My husband looooooves reading apartment therapy. Maybe that's why...

Hey, it is powdery but then again, we don't really touch our brickwall (only guests will). We do find abit of powder on our bedframe and sidetable but it's not a big problem for us. Painting it white will look good too, so if you are concerned, perhaps you should paint it.

Hey, the blinds are from Golden Leaf in Whampoa. Highly recommend them as their service was excellent. Look for Zhen Li.

Hi, the letters are from Typo but we spray painted it as we used it as a prop for our wedding

Oh thanks, really appreciate that. It's cool to know that people like our ideas and are adapting them for their homes. I just saw your blog, I thought you have an ID? How did K come into the picture?

Hello. Mr Paloma here. It has been generally fun during our renovation process and we kind of miss it now that most of it is done. So I decided to get my lazy butt off the couch to take some photos of the house before it changes over the years, and to remember the first home that we built together. Looking back, there are certain things we wished we had done differently. But then again, as first-time renovation newbies, we learnt loads that will be useful if we were to ever re-renovate our home. It's not perfect, but still, we're glad that we have a home to return to every day and I guess it's the people and experiences that make a home and not the other way round. We'll be signing on less frequently in the future but we're thankful to have learnt so much from the people in this forum. Thank you!

Hey I don't have a door, it's an open concept, sort of.

A butter dish! That's pretty cool. Yes shall check the website out, thanks!
-
Hey, thanks for sharing this website. I checked it out and they sell really gorgeous stuff! Too bad some of the rugs are not shipped internationally yet. What did you buy??
-
Hey actually they are wooden skirtings provided by HDB, just that we painted them matte white. If you are thinking of doing the same, would recommend that you go for glossy paint instead because matte white does get dirty quite easily. Must be very careful when sweeping and mopping!

Hey thanks for liking our place guys! I've sent you all my contractor's contact, but for those who asked for quotations, sorry but I'm unable to share. Please approach my contractor for a quote okay? Have a good weekend! Looking forward to next week as I'm hoping to visit some shops to buy some furniture. Hope I find some gems!

The past few weeks have been busy yet fun for us. We hosted several dinners at our place and it was interesting to find out how our friends and family felt about our place and see how they used the space. For me, one of the best things we did was to put the dining table and bookshelves in the centre of the living room. I was very skeptical initially when I husband suggested it, but the area has turned out to be a real focal point of our home. For us, we love sitting around the table, reading, working on our laptops and catching up with each other. Our guests seem to enjoy the space too, browsing our books while enjoying coffee. I'll be concluding this blog soon, since our renovation is over. Meanwhile, we are still on the hunt for some furniture, though we are in less of a hurry now. Recently, we bought a Franc Franc chair for our dining area, which means we'll need just two more chairs to complete the mix.

Hey BC, sorry I've been out of action for abit. If you like them, why not? I'm not much of an art person though, so I can't give you any advice.
-
Sorry but as i shared in my earlier post, I don't share specific cost of my reno. In any case, sounds like you got a good deal. Mine was definitely way more expensive.

I see! The Singapore outlet opened recently, have yet to check it out though!

Hi, I got it from Room of Woods (http://www.roomofwoods.com/).

Oh I think the coach you loaned looks lovely in your place! And I like your white door, it's very elegant. And the wallpaper is so interesting! By the way, where did you get the cracker tissue box?
