  1. Ooo...sounds like an interesting shift..well at least this forum will keep u gg thru the nite!
  2. No it's LG Hi Mac solid top... Due to its higher acrylic content (iirc) it won't stain as easily as other solid tops, however still not as stain resistant as quartz. That's why I chose this colour.
  3. Hi, no prob, maybe u changed ur settings? The ceiling's concrete, above it is not tiled roof but RC flat roof, so guess I shld waterproof it again....
  4. Forgot to mention, if u take white for the sink portion, it's cheaper by 100+
  5. Casa & Valerielow, the integrated sink is abt 700+. Price varies with the size as well, mine's not the industrial sink size for woks but it's still big enough for plates & pots.
  6. Ya it's stainless steel screws. So its ok. better than nail installation, which coincidentally is what how my parquet was done.
  7. Hi, Morganwu recommended a master installer who just left his company & is freelancing to work on my deck, materials from Morganwu's company. I'm waiting for my internet to be up in my new hse to show pics of the shifu at work. He's very detailed & so far I'm happy with the work & the teak deck.
  8. Hi Valerie, ya to avoid seepage to cabinets hor...someone commented tho that the downside is I can't change the sink alone if it gets stained...but I think it's the same for undermount sink anyway, so am liking this option. Same as for casa, will chk & get back to u both on sink alone. Cos everythg was charged 1 amt to me.
  9. Alritez.. Btw, I saw my solid top at Ikea yesterday, their kitchen corner has been renovated already. Mine they're selling at $113pfr! But not sure if u can buy only solid top from them... They have other solid top models some selling at discounted price of $96 or so pfr.
  10. Ya true...Better do now while we remember... Yup, autogate installed.
  11. Tks! Hmmm..car porch is spacious, if park 2 cars I won't be able to close gate tho.... Didn't change, as I thot the Matt tiles are quite unique! Plus I'll change only when I'm doing the 3 phase power thingy... The 2 compressors are for ground floor only. But we don't expect to use it often. Shld I protect it more?
  12. Boo hoo! Half a day to move, half a day unpacking... & we're still short of furniture to keep te children's clothes, my books & our extra extras...
  13. Hi bro casa, it was together with the rest of the solid top le...lemme see if I can find out then I let u know. U want to do I integrated sink too?
  14. Tks! I really like the wardrobe...the only thing I don't like is it's not enough. Hahaha.
  15. Some sanitary wares I purchased from Inzwerk at Vertex, which supplies Johnson Suisse products for projects. I like Inzwerk because - The person who attended to us (Anthony) is very knowledgeable about his stuff. After being to 4-5 sanitary wares shop including often heard ones in Geylang & Jln Besar, Anthony's explanation of cisterns, basins, etc still win hands down. The service we got were way better than the ID-recommended shop in the same building whose staff are bad attitude & sotong about the products. Anthony is there only on Sundays so other times we were served by Angela. - Product is reasonably priced & reputable. My one-piece was bought at a promo of $390 while the common toilet's WC rp is around $250. I mentioned before in a reply to another forumer that I noted the WC in my hospital ward is Johnson Suisse so I've an affinity to this brand as it was there in my time of need... hee. - Place is comfortable for shopping - Ample parking My dry kitchen mixer from Webert. Master toilet waterfall tap from Webert - clean design. Deep toiletries holder. Almar bidet spray - $39 but made in Italy (so it says). Special because of the unique hose. Common toilet WC All of above bought from the same shop.
  16. Most of the things internal house fittings were ready today... ' Feature wall House facade 2 huge condensers sitting pretty in the backyard.
  17. Hi shmj, tks...the calculations of the setup was very precise too...I got lost in the discussion & only woke up to select laminates...
  18. Hi casa! Tks tks...! I'm a sis btw.
  19. Hi house118, thanks... i like the technical aspects of the console as well. The lights are Tom Dixon replicas... very common now la, but I just like it. It's 3 different shapes hung in a line over my island. Got them from Ion Lighting where I got my fans, about $250 for the set.
  20. The area where my set-top boxes will be placed... Now u see it... ..now you dont.
  21. Feature wall installation, continued. Putting up the shelves. Requested for entire shelf to be able to hold my books, so had to drive more steel rods... Waiting to be finished. Hidden panel of sockets under a flap.
  22. Solid top installed yesterday. Closeup of solid top grains... i love it as it looks good & its easy to maintain.. Solid top against cabinet laminates... soothing as opposed to contrasting. Integrated sink for dry kitchen... Backsplash & anti-drip.. Overview.
  23. A good read... i guess props are fine but only if they truly reflect who u are....
  24. Hi Valerie, it's actually laminate that looks & feels like fabric...
