    Hi!

    I have received quotation from a contractor. However I am not sure about below quoted and is it reasonable or any hidden cost?

    Provide labour, materials & tools to electrical wiring: On Site (Shouldn't this be quoted instead of waiting for on site?)

    It's at Choa Chu Kang called Sunshine Gardens. It's still a long way to go. Lol. I just found out about this forum and enjoy drooling and admiring others transformation!

    Trying to gauge how much I have to saved up till then. Just being a kiasu me. Hur hur.

    Slightly brighter (8 downlights installed) than the covelights but not to my expectation. My kitchen light is brighter than this.

    If I'm only watching TV, I'll either switch the covelights on, or none at all. :D

    On the Road:Yeah, we saw the footstool at Lush, but it costs like about S$600, abit too ex for a foot stool. But if we cant get it at other place, we will get it from there.

    Potatoes: Yeah, it is so costly, basically is complete overhaul, we hack everything, throw everything and change everything. (We will have to eat porridge everyday after this reno :bangwall: )

    Anyway, we do not have private Balcony in our MBR, its the aircon ledge. We even close up our Small balcony at lower level due to Feng Shui. So we have a longer Kitchen now.

    Aelyra: Hi, we bought all Bosch items during Harvey Norman Expo Sale and it is slightly cheaper than the normal price. I suggest you to wait for GSS and see if they have another sale. Coz Bosch items are not cheap. coz it really burn our pocket.

    Yup, Bosch is pretty steep in price but it's also known for being high quality and durable. Burning my pocket for them and yea, going to wait for sale to buy them. Thanks!

    Haha, ok. Happy shopping. Something to share. The dining table comes in 2 sizes, 1.4m and 1.7m. So you can choose the length that can fit in ur dining area. Both sizes same price.

    For the bed, i like the headboard. Its "thick" enough for me to put my specs and remote control.

    Ah that's even better if the dining table has a smaller version. BTO's today really small for 4 room. Everything need to be mini size :bleah:

    What attracted me to the bed is the added details in the middle, the red pattern. Very unique. :good:

    Can't wait to see your renovation process!

    Hi Paloma, I love your house concept. Well thought of an it's beautiful!

    We are planning to just go with a contractor instead of ID, partly too for cost savings and we pretty much know what we wants.

    Would appreciate it if you can provide the contractor details and Reno cost. Thanks a lot!
