The power of spray hose It's a tiring day of scrubbing probably one the dirtiest place in the house. We closed the windows and sprayed at the roller shutter. For once you,don't mind dirt rained downed on you as you see the shutters now look new despite being 13years old My mini toilet. Looks completed but nope... Tap not connected.

Hi I've just completed my EM Reno (quite near yr place) ; w/o changing flooring of level 2 and living room, I already took 8weeks as there needs to be more coordination given its 2 levels. So it's been to give yrself a bigger time buffer. Will be good to discuss yr piping and wiring early with yr id as once the frenzy starts , you can't think clearly. All the best.

Hi Tks for visiting my blog and glad we share common likes. Yes we were initially worried the sliding door will make the living room crampy. The limitation would really be be your sofa size Getting a 3+2 seater will have this problem unless you flushed both sets to the wall So hv to get an L-shaped or 3+1+1 so you can move the single sofa around My sofa set still under wraps so I have not really sit in the living room to gauge if it's crampy Hopefully i can do so this weekend as update it on my blog We only hv the tv console, a 3+1 seater so it seems okie. But I do know many EM owners who also installed aircon in their living rooms w/o the glass panel to retain the cold air. The room will still be cooling but it runs into yr electricity bill. But do note the glass panel is huge so might be dangerous for kids. Im gonna put up my wall decal soon as my little nephew and nieces pop by often and also my furry fren just dashed around in excitement. As for kitchen, I think one should consider yr lifestyle. It am not a zi char person, primarily boiling soup and simple stir fry so I thought an open concept works for me. But it also means I must be hardworking to clean the lights, the blinds. So I told my part time domestic helper that cleaning the dining and kitchen is TOP priority. I'm adapting a very western style kitchen concept and I get my ideas from magazines like home beautiful, apartment therapy which I read the articles under this iPad apps -flipboard. I will save all the pics I like and periodically run thru them and it kinda affirm wat you really like thru the tonnes of pix u saved. But we must be realistic due to our budget and weather so we can't fully replicate those we see in magazines. Also, hubby always remind me it must be functionall and the state will deteriorate. He din wanna build me a kitchen showroom That's my 2cts worth. Hope to see yr pix soon.

Reality vs expectations. I would say 80% Though the laminate wasn't exactly the same, but I'm glad i stick to the theme of white and wood grains And the granite top was a tough choice btw a white solid top Dining : it was tough picking yellow,colour from the Nippon paint catelogue. So we went for tangerine which is safer. It carries a strong tint of yellow. I love my dining room ambience (less the current mess) The Venetian blind just blend in well with the dining we and the wall colour Can't wait to put up the white decor I bought. The table runner, the white candle stand, a pot of peach /pink rose bouquet... So a big sigh of relief. Thanks to all who pm me to cheer me on. I did not renovate one of the bedrooms so we used it to store big bulky items like our tv console, queen sized bed But my family staying at another place for past years and leased out our EM so once our tenant moved out then we renovate.

Moving closer to the finishing line Installation of granite top in kitchen Kitchen island - poor workers huff and puff to lay this one big piece. Over to the wet kitchen Left with mounting the kitchen hob. The washing area Left with the tap, handles for the top cabinets; we used to have a stainless steel bar and remote removed it So gonna buy another price. Installer suggested to do a L finishing on the left next to the washing machine. This is to prevent water from spilling I did not opt for kitchen top over the washing machine in any case I change to washing machine that might be top load or taller.

hi yes you def must allow both doors of the side by side fridge to open fully I'm using one at my current place and the right door cannot open fully; I still can put n retrieve stuff but I can't take the drawers out to wash :-( so in my new place, I settled for 2 doors; I must say it feels food to open fridge doors with both hands and hv a full view of yr stocks yea, if u like walnut then go for it; I like the cosy resort feel and I'm still using this colour in my current Reno think walnut is timeless.

I had the same encounter particularly with the white smooth surfaced tiles as it's obvious they protrude out. I insisted to replace those pieces that are at shower area. Strangely for the non smooth surfaced, the protrusion wasn't that obvious.
