  1. Wanted to shift from a rented room to my new 5 room flat. Called elite movers and made some arrangements. Receive the paper boxes 1 month in advance and started packing. on actual day the moving was extremly fast and organised. I will defintely use them again. I was also moving live stock(fish) and they took extra care in helping me make sure they are alright and secured before moving. Once again thumbs up

  8. I am paying for professional services from the agents. Read my earlier posts. I said change agents cause some agents are sucky and some are always avoiding and not answering questions. Think about it would you wanna work with such agents when you are the 1 paying. I wouldnt for sure and i am lucky my last agent is like this. You have your view as a agent and i have my view as a buyer. My view is stand is that i am paying for commission and the agent need to be professional and adapt to me and not i adapt to the agent. As a buyer i should expose myself to all agents and options. Narrowing down to a agent just simply narrows down my option. I am a buyer ma so i sure selfish and care about myself more which i think most seller do. Somemore we are paying quite high in commision bro. Anyway sister if the agent you have knows you only use him and his attitude like that i rather you drop lor. He doesnt deserve his chance at all lor

  11. Same i have the same thouhts. If agents think that they have only 25% chance of getting the commission and thus not putting in enough hard work dan i would defintely drop the agent. Shouldnt agents try their best and help us looks for our dream units. What about standing in the shoes of buyers that some of us are emptying our life savings (at least for me) to get a house that i like and i need to pay agent fees. I had 3 agents at the same time looking houses for me before i decided on my current house. But out of these 3 agents, the agent that helped me find my dream unit was the most hardworking and most on and fighting for us for the best prices. i paid him $5885 in commission (very hearth pain) but at least i knew that i paid to a agent who did his work and was pro active. Luckily i did know have an agent that only wanted to do some work and worried not to get commission.
  12. Ya i agree with you. I buey tahan laid back agents. I work my *** off to earn money. Now you are earning my $ and u wan to ai mai ai mai? If thats the case i rather mai. But sister other dan depending on the agent also do some reading. haahaa it does help. Cause some agents in order to close deal like to anyhow bomb n throw smoke grenade

  15. We do not plan to do renovation cause the whole place is still in pristine condition and also no $$$ haahaa.... So we decide to paint ourselves and buy lots of stuff that we like. This is what we had spent even before the house had came and this is only like half of it.
  16. My 1st agent was dam laidback must ask this ask that and feel like she abit avoiding me. Dono issit cause i was asking too much questions. HEllo my 1st time buy house ma and somemore i paying commision hor. Then my current agent not bad. We went kopi sessions, fishing together and he even help me with my furniture choosing and fighting for discounts together. Seriously i also shocked.

  18. Me copy cat so i also create a post here Me and my gal got married in January 2012 and we have since started looking for a house since then. Getting married was a very tired process and we also had to recuperate our pockets awhile before we started looking for our house in April. Both of us staying together in a rented room. But it wasnt that smooth sailing looking for a flat for us. 1st Incident) - We viewed a house and we wanted to get the flat. COV was at 20k and we quite like the house so we decided to purchase the flat. Call the agent we decided to go ahead and he told us to meet at the void deck of the house to fill up the OTP form before proceeding to pass the seller the 1k. Just 10 mins into filling the form the seller's agent called our agent and said that the deal was off and the seller doesnt want to sell anymore. We thought maybe our offer was too low and we even up our COV a little but seller firm in not selling. #@$#!@$#@$#@! So we made our way back home grumbling haahaa. 2nd incident) - This time we webt to view a jumbo flat and the COV was 35k. Told the agent i need to go for a smoke and to discuss with my wife the COV whether are we comfortable and is the house okay for her. Discussing through and both of us say ok and we will get the flat. Called them up and told them to proceed with the OTP, but alas they told us that they now decided to raise to 37k COV. I was like but nvm since wifey like that house i don mind pay 2k more. So i inform them okay at 37k COV. Who knows we received a call in another 5mins while we were going to the house. They wanted 41k. Seriously pissed and i told them to go fly kite. 3rd Incident(Finally got our house) - Agent called me at around 11.30PM and yes PM to view a flat cause he just got news that this flat just on the market. So ok lor wake my wife up and we proceed to view the flat. We were now pretty sceptic in viewing flats after 2 incidents. Went in the house straight away. WAHHHHHH dono why le but feel like that this house and us click. We also cant explain why. There is 1 odd corner in 1 of the common rooms. But instead of rejecting we found it ok le and special. Nothing basically needed to be done cause the house was in gd condition because the seller's kids are with their parents and they only stay in the house during weekends. The COV decided was 30k and we decided to purchase the flat and we gave the 1k for OTP immediately. That was sometimes ago liao. We had our 1st appointment on the 12 of June 2012 and our compeletion is scheduled to be 24th of July. We were very gan cheong and very excited. Reason we got this flat was because when we went in we feel comfortable and like it and besides doesnt need to do much and basically new couples that are not cash rich.
  19. ya lo. agree liao ti ti increase COV until the end dan call us back say can agree on initial agreement. Was dam pissed off lor. That time i was represented by another agent from DWG. Until i met my current agent. he brought me to the flat that i am in process. He managed to help me press the cov to 30k which me and wifey was comfortable. Although my sellers are abit on the quiet side and don talk much but at least they don come out all sort of pattern. So many pattern see also sianz
  20. i also got played out twice by sellers before this time. My agent and us filled up the OTP form and getting ready to meet seller at their convenience to pass them the 1k. Just 10mins before they told us not selling. 2nd time is when we are going to meet the buyer. From 30k COV raised to 35k, me and wife ok and they decide to raise to 37, abit pissed off liao but cause wife love the unit dan come the next best thing. They will sign the OTP only if we agree on 41k COV. Wifey got so angry that she tore the OTP infront of the owner. 1 week later they called us back to agree on 30k cov but wifey told them to fly kite. Current seller house very pretty and nice. We signed the OTP at 30k cov for a 5 room flat in the east. Alot of funny sellers and agents around. Jia you sister
