  1. Length 100cm... u from XX2A ? R u in the Facebook as well ?
  2. I got it from a company call Craftstone...i guess different company from yours... we tested on the samples by scratching with a key...the "metal" scratch mark is more obvious on the snow white one (but can be remove one)....so that's why we went for another one that's not too obvious...but i do like the snow white one...
  3. Hi i took 3141 instead...was quoted $160pf for 20mm so i think for your pricing is okay. Yes heard those "1" series is of a higher pricing. Wanted to choose the one you use but was concern that scratches and stains will be obvious, so choose 3141. Mine initially charge GST i ask them if they have another company which is non-gst registered which they can issue me invoice and they did so i save about $100 plus from the GST
  4. Hi...bought it from here...the standard size. http://www.yee-sin.com/
  5. I also using Caesarstone quartz top...nearly wanted to choose 2141 too... suggest u use 20mm...it will look nicer...how much pf did they quote you?
  6. Hmmm for my case i on the lights at night to test ...it will only brighten certain areas of the kitchen so i plan to add on another light and hopefully it will make the place brighter. I guess it depends on the size of your kitchen and also the type of track lights you using? The electrical shop did mention to me that track light itself is not enough to brighten the whole place. Perhaps you would like to have additional lights like recessed spotlights in your carpentry? I dun know...mine is just 1m long, i think the most can fit only 5 lights, but too many wouldn't look nice, so i think i stick to 4 lights I guess if there's a need then i just on the service yard light at the same time.
  7. Actually what i mean is if i dun use track lights for kitchen, i would choose pendant light instead...but since i already choose track lights, i will stick with it...:-)
  8. Yup I use the same laminates for the whole house. Initally I thought of using a lighter laminate for kitchen and shoe cabinet, and a darker tone for bathroom and bedroom. But I couldn't find suitables ones. I went through 6 books of laminates, only managed to find one close to the colour tone that's I'm looking for which has wooden grains on it. There's one with the colour tone that I find okay, but the wooden grain cannot make it. So in the end I just went for the same laminate for the whole house.
  9. woo…thanks for sharing… perhaps in terms of light dispersion, mine is of a lower degree? Cause inside my track light there's actually 3 round lights When I bought the lights I only ask if it's bright enough. The sales staff showed to me and it was so bright that I can't look at it directly. I treat the track lights as part of kitchen deco. If I'm not using track lights, I might go for pendant light instead for the kitchen.
  10. Mine is LED lights...i didn't even install hood in the kitchen cause i dun know how to clean it so i decided to do away with it...i do mainly light cooking..steaming or just boil soup..or at times use oven to bake chicken...husband is health conscious...no fried food. I plan to shine the lights on the table top instead...currently the area is not bright enough so i have to on the service yard light to help brighten the kitchen. Hopefully once i add another track light to the kitchen, it will be much better.
  11. Hi, my carpenter only over the outer area with wood, the area under the sink is still the tiles... It's advised by my carpenter to have the sink support in case of leakage then your wood wouldn't get damage. Will share more picture when i go down to see the progress of the reno.
  12. Hi...i dun know in detail but base on the invoice it's written as "CT800"...For my kitchen i find 3 track lights not bright enough intend to add another one... As for my living room i'm using warm light meant for the wall decal... If your areas is small (like my kitchen) then it's okay...but the lighting shop did advise for kitchen due to the cooking..when the track gets dirty will be difficult to clean...but if you doing mostly light cooking then it's okay.
  13. Hi can i check with you your flooring the tiles is the warping ok? as in when you walk around does the unevenness feels obvious?
  14. Your key collection date out ?
  15. Mine initially dun have but i did the box up for down lights so now have...But it depends on your unit cause i seen a neighbour MBR with the L shape recess area.
  16. Common room wardrobe compartments are also completed Shoe cabinet
  17. Toliet cabinets are completed Common Bathroom MBR
  18. Carpentry My carpentry work is only left with master bedroom wardrobe, which will look similar to common bedroom wardrobe. Appreciate the carpenter for rushing out the work despite his busy schedule. Kitchen Cabinets are completed, only left with the solid top. Also plan to include a shelf on the right side of the kitchen which will ask the carpenter to include at the later stage. Plan to put my small rice cooker, electric flask, etc on top of the shelf. On the table top will be putting an oven. I quite like this laminate that i choose. But was wondering if the kitchen looks abit...plain? Or maybe it will look better once it's full completed.
  19. Not sure is it 180 or 200 per ft..
  20. I pick based on the samples provided so didn't see the 3142 u mention....
  21. Table top Arrange for table top measurement yesterday. Decided to go for Caesarstone Quartz, white colour. Understand that 1 series is of a higher pricing. Wanted to choose the 2141 Snow as it's close to the colour of tiles of the kitchen wall. But we were concern that when it gets stain, it would look quite obvious. Need to put more effort in removing the stain. The guy doing the measurement also advise us to get "too white" if we mind the stain. So in the end we choose this one instead....with all the "mini dot dot dot"...so that when comes to stain will be less obvious.
