So how did you fix it in the end? My tap also started to leak.

Wow. They did give us the lowest quote for our items, but hearing these horror stories I don't think I'll want to take the risk over a couple of dollars.

So how is it done in TW? I'm not keen on skirting either cos my furniture will all leave a gap between the wall as hiding places for crawlies. But then there's the higher maintenance issue without it.

I googled "laminate flooring off gassing" and it turns out lots of sites say laminate flooring also off gas.

Anybody has problems with Vinyl tiles off-gasing?

I've also read that laminate flooring can have the same toxic gassing since the coating is also made from resins and plastics. Same goes for PVC or Poly-VINYL Chloride water pipes and trunking. Like this how can we be sure the materials being installed in our homes are safe?

Anybody has any experience with their vinyl floor tiles? They are like cheaper than laminate flooring.
