  3. Hi, thanks for the responses thus far... i presume skylights are just plexi-glass to light pass thru - the air does flow out right? regards.
  4. hi, need to seek advise again from experienced forum members... i am in the midst of doing a&a for a small 20ft by75ft intermediate terrace... its just a simple 2 storey hse... i felt that an airwell is important for an inter-terrace but my contractor is saying that its a waste of space in my small place... may i ask... is there a need for an air well? any minimum size for it to be effective? tahnks

  12. been using F&P fridge for the past 3 years... no problems thus far, occasionally, some "crackling noise" from the fridge - not too sure if the salesperson is refering to this? according to F&P cust svc, this noise are normal..no worries.. anyway.. i've no regrets in buying it.. ezyclean surface is a breeze to clean..
  13. hmm... the space for our MBR is pretty small...can do WIW, but space will be small. imho, better hack walls in order to have a decent WIW + space to move-around.
  14. yo...desmond... bk here... did u go check out the luxury living exhibition @ expo?
  15. no worries lah... i dun think it's a bad thing... your view may not be blocked, it may even be enhanced!! (if the private developer (or rather the architect) did a good job the current masterplan is valid for 10years... i.e. next mp is 2013. So things may change... esp. after they are done with the IR stuffs..
  16. yup.. our current flats will probably be demolished for newer public housing (aka sers again).. however, it's highly unlikely to be condos as our area is still zoned for public housing by URA. the consolation? the old flats' plot ratio is only 2.8... the field + school opposite the mrt is the likely candidate for condos as it's zoned as residential housing (i vaguely recall that it's not zoned as public housing). With a plot ratio of 4.0 (same as to our new flats), i think we'll probably see a 35-storey (or higher) private development... juz dunno when. ..plot ratios are based on ura masterplan 2003..
  17. our closest 'hub' will be at Vista Xchange @ Bouna Vista MRT - according to the OneNorth masterplan...it should be completed by 2010. imho, it's unlikely that interchange will take the up the whole area opposite the mrt.
  18. errm... so what's the final price? a bit confused as the prices on the website and yahoo auction.. btw, can we test it first? i've seen a mythbuster episode on discovery channel whereby the fingerprint lock was beaten simply by a photo-copied thumbprint!
