  7. Hi all, My wife and I recently got hold of the keys to our resale 5-room corner unit at Teck Whye Lane. We had perviously just sold our 5-EA at CCK and decided to downgrade. Our main criteria when looking for a home is that the kitchen has to be spacious. Newer HDB homes have kitchens that are just too small. Therefore, we have to look for older HDB models and Teck Whye being an old estate was one of the areas we were targeting. The process of selling and buying a house is a mixed experience. Am not going to bore everyone here with complains, so let's just say I had quite a bad experience in the selling process, and a very pleasant experience in buying. I'll be posting the pre-reno photos in the next few posts and hope you all will enjoy my story. I'm praying for this reno journey to be a less bumpy ride compared to the reno of our first home. As 2nd timers, we have learned a few things, some the hard way. And it begins....
  8. Just to share... There are plenty of shops selling teakwood furniture @ Dempsey. They are all specialised in wood furnitures be it modern or antique. And they accept custom made orders as well. I myself have purchased my custom made furnitures from this particular shop, Wood Farm. http://www.woodfarmlifestyle.com/ Look for Lawrence or Alwin. Patient and friendly service. I wld recommend those interested to get teakwood furnitures to try them.
  9. I won this fridge in a lucky draw contest but my current fridge for my home is still very new so I do not need this set. You can read more abt this model here NR-BY552 | Panasonic The retail price for this model is S$1399 (w/o delivery). Very energy efficient, 4 NEA Ticks and its an inverter unit as well. EcoNavi is a new energy saving innovation by Panasonic and its impressive. I myself own a Panasonic EcoNavi aircon and I love it. Those interested would have to arrange with me for the delivery as I would get the agent to deliver direct to your address. The item is still not delivered yet, thus when you receive it it will be totally brand new. I'm putting a BNP of S$1300. Those who wish to offer a lower price please text or whatsapp me at 9835.....7048 as I'm willing to negotiate. Quick response guaranteed as I'm hoping to deal fast. Please do not make a ridiculously low offer as it wld not be entertained. Thank you.
