    I have ordered 2 set of the 5ft full height sliding door imported customised wardrobe to let go at $2900 for both.

    The condition is you have to take both, the installation has yet to be done so we can still change the address. It is ideal if you are renovating your house now and if you need more than 2 set, we can still ask the vendor to install the 3/4th set at the committed price. The vendor is Vincere Interior and they have done a good job for many houses, it will be a quick job that will be installing on the existing flooring and wall.

    i can't proceed with my renovation due to unforeseen circumstances and i have been holding it for 4 months before i decide to let it go.

    P.S. i have gotten 3 different quotation from renovation contractors which include the carpentry build-in wardrobe costing and i found that almost all of them quote higher cost for the wardrobe (the contractor say he can't match the price!). Ikea selling something similar (not full height) at $1300 which make this customised wardrobe more attractive.

    If i were you, i would rather give up the $5K and seek HDB to cancel the deal (or get back the deposit if possible).

    If the owner took another loan shark without changing his address, you run a high risk of the loan shark coming to harass your family.

    Thank you all for your suggestions.

    Unfortunately since HDB has not cancelled our case, we cannot look for another house. The owner gets extension 3 weeks to get the wife's signature (although the situation now looks bleak and seems it's gonna be cancelled anyway).

    **** it. Waste time only!! Worse still, I'm renting a place now after my wedding end of last year, thinking it will be a short-term stay before getting our house key. My agent suggested to sue the owner for breach of OTP since he has caused all the inconveniences (especially the time wastage n additional rental). And he said it's surely a win-case?

    We actually rather sue and get the house than $5k back (I doubt he has the money as he cashed in the cheque the same day we paid the deposit). Anyone has any friends who have gone through similar experience? Suing the seller for breach of OTP?

    We're still hopeful since we like the house for its good location.

    I tried using homeplug for mio tv in another room but it didn't work, best bet is still lay a cat5/6 cable to the room if you need mio tv.

    Bro, I have the similar situation and I am cracking my head. I think in ur case, it is not as straight forward as using the

    telephone wire as "threading assistance" to thread it through... Cos if successful, u are cool. If not, u will be in deep

    Mine is no better. Because my reno wall tiling n ceiling are up liao. And the best part is previous owner didnt take up ON's

    offer of "bringing in" the fibre. So now I gotta spend 200+ to get it done. I am contemplating to use Homeplugs such as Aztech,

    D-Link etc to solve my problems as they make us of electrical wires.

    To make matter worse, I not only need internet signal, I also need to have the mio TV signal. So if my "experiment" gets me

    internet, its only half problem solved. hahaha :o cos still got mio TV, dunno can or not. So I will have to talk to technical

    people to understand further :bow:

    Hi all,

    I have a question regarding the ceiling height from living room to kitchen area for HDB flat, anyone know if there is any different?

    i understand the floor for living area is higher, and not sure if there is any different on the ceiling side. I was told that since the living room flooring is higher, the ceiling will be slightly higher too. If i were to hack the kitchen wall, how to level the ceiling if there is a different?

    Hi XTR,

    impress with the DIY work of yours, i sure won't have the time and idea to do this... i have the same floor plan as your flat and you have given me some idea for my kitchen. But a few questions:

    1. do you have a floor plan of the new layout? where is your dining area?

    2. what paint do you use for the toilet area? was it waterproof? i can see they are just paint, but wouldn't gets moldy after a while?

    Saw this cute little fan. It first caught my hubby's attention and I thought aye jus a small little fan so I didn pay much attention to it. Chanced upon it again in another shop we went to. This time they on the fan and I must say dun belittle the power of this fan :P We decided to buy it and place it in a corner of our living room. I m attracted to it much becos of e aesthetic reason hahaa.. vain me :P
