Wow... The pipes look really nice! I am looking to do a full height pipe bookshelveswith the, with the pipes painted matt gold color, and a big hole at the center to fit in my life of pi pictures, got inspired by the pictures online..... Just to check, do you know where did your id gets the pipes? Are the fittings expensive because these are customize parts right? Thanks in advance...

Yeah... Finally finished the wedding photoshoot Took a random pic at the place This picture reminds me of the very old 周星弛 movie, 国产007... where there is a painting which looks similar to the photo... Haha Anyway, back to Reno, the house is wash for the first time and now look clean for the first time haha... Went to PD door to get the half louvre door for my common toilet ( the upper half will be the louvre and lower part is a black acrylic piece) With the rim to be grey color. Got the grey door to match with my cement screed kitchen... My main door is getting from bad to worse... Sometime can't even open while other time, the door opened by its own (suspected the latch is not working fine)...

Yeah... The idea is actually comes from the H&D magazine... Haha. good source to get inspiration... I wanted to save some money on the vanity and it happened that my MIL has a sewing machine to spare...I still have a "spider leg" sewing machine leg that will be used for my dining table... Still saving up for the top... Haha... Thanks for liking the blue wall.. It really soothing to look at...

Hi sappyd, Yeah... The sewing machine leg is ready, waiting for the solid top and the sink to be installed... My friend even asked me, why don't you join the pedal with the water hose. So water will come out when the pedal is stepped on like how people get water in the ancient day...

Hi greglhc, Should be metal, maybe aluminium... Mine still quite solid but need at least 1 rod to hold the head and the base together. Otherwise, the light will be flimsy.

Hi tessina, Yup. I agree with you on the blue wall. In fact, all my friends say the same thing regarding the color contrast... I know the best color to complement the red brick should be beige, white, warm colors... However, I just like to have a blue wall in my living room and the wall stretches the entire living room... In fact, my wifey says she has a big heart to accept my color scheme...

My house is really in a mess... Things lying all over and the floors are really dusty and dirty... Argh... Hopefully, the rubbish can be cleared soon.. A picture taken from my corridor window- The clash between my red brick wall (fire) and the blue wall (water) and the innocent white wall in between... Haha... It reminds me of one piece, the battle between akainu and Aoliji in one piece...

For the fans: Living - does it match the color scheme? My mum's bedroom, chosen a really small fan with lights attached... Not sure is the fan strong enough... We did test it at the shop and the wind strength is okay...

Yeah... The lightings and fans are up today Entrance - 2 small cage lights to welcome me home, I will place a dining table underneath Living room - Rusken Pendant - small but did complement my blue wall Hopefully, the L-box and cove light will do the job... Kitchen - love the industrial look alike pendant, the only worry is it seem to be a bit too low due to my house low ceiling... Wanted to remove the support rod in the middle but it become flimsy without it. Luckily, it is not as low as what we had imagined. Toilet light - took a gamble but luckily it does match... Then, we went to get a frame for the life of pi drawing that my wifey bought a few months ago... Surprisingly, the size of the drawing is almost half of my height!!! I and my wifey have decided to put it on the brick wall!!!

Yay... Gotten the last set of lights for my house This will be installed in the living room... It is lacquered iron, similar finished to the enamelware... Gotten the green colored one... Hopefully it is the same color as what I have been imagining.. Initially wanted to get this, the price is really steep and my wifey don't approve although I issued a quotation to her...

Also, the grohe products are coming to town after almost a month... This is a surprise to me as the customer service officer that I have been liaising with told me that the parts will only be shipped on 17/7... Now, the parcel should be flying to Singapore according to the tracking status and should arrive next week... Keeping my fingers crossed...

Then after that, went to yontat to get the door... The bottom part of the current main door has chipped off (a result if not checking thoroughly when buying the flat)... Haiz, so no choice but to replace it as it might scratch my tiles in the long run... So wifey wanted black and gotten a black veneer door Closer look... Then the bedroom doors are simple classic doors without grooves Closer look Then my wifey wanted a digital lock as she does not want to bring keys out... She has shortlisted the Yale lock...

Finally, my renovation has gathered pace again. There was a slightly delay due to find the right electrician for the house... Wanted to run black PVC pipe across the living room, kitchen and common toilet but it seems to be very difficult to do so... Today jiawei bought a color palette for us to choose the paint color... Gotten sail white (according to jiawei, not off white but it has a tinge of creamy favor) for my mum room and study room ( wifey want the study room to be bright) Then for MBR, green gates to match the laminate of our wardrobe with the center wall to be beige color As for the living room, the wall opposite the red brick wall will be blue with the other walls be sail white... We have chosen liberty blue ( because of the name)... I wanted something darker tho but jiawei warned that it might clash with the brick wall, so go for a color that is milder...

Nice fence.... Really look like a small enclosed area... How I wish I could have the same luxury of an additional recess area....

Hi Kissryl, How is the steam mop? Is it effective? I saw the salesperson doing the demo during last week gain city sale. Quite impressive but not sure about the effectiveness...

I also wanted to comment on the good after sale service from Asia Excel. I bought a grohe euphoria rain-shower set back in march (very impulse buy, very regret now) and the set was delivered 2 weeks ago... I was not at the site when the package was delivered and the tiler received it on my behalf... I also forgot about it and didn't check the package. A few days ago, out of curiosity, I opened up the package and to my horror, the shower head delivered is not the correct one. I remembered the sales person told me that the rainshower should be chrome finish but the one I received is exactly similar to the one on display in their show room... I quickly called them up, although more than 1 week later, they admit their mistake and willing to exchange the correct head for me without much hassle... Phew... As for the items I ordered from Insani, I am still waiting for them to be delivered... According to the customer service guy I am corresponding, the rainshower icon is not available and would only be in stock on 17/7, then all the items will be shipped together... So he proposed 2 solutions: 1. Cancel this item and he will send the other items 2. Part delivery and pay another eur50 So in the end, I decided to wait for all the parts since I spent a lot of my time mix and match the items to fit the 5KG shipping requirement... Also , the rainshower icon is really cheap as compared locally even with shipping included... For those who are interested to buy from insani, be prepare to wait even if the items are "in stock, immediately available" so must really check the stock availability with the customer service before making purchase, especially, for those in a hurry to get the items.... The response from the customer service personnel is quite prompt but must use the form to make enquiry instead through email if you need a fast response from them... Sorry for the long post...

Yeah... Another project completed Finished the 1000 pieces jigsaw puzzle..had spent numerous late night to finish this puzzle.... Haven't thought of where to hang this painting tho... The funny thing is my painting has not even started! Haha... My wifey always comment " why so kiasu!" Anyway, anyone know of place to buy cheap and good art painting frame? i need to frame up another drawing my wifey had bought online.... TIA
