hey, you mean we can still submit defects after the one week grace? how did these defects came about? Was it caused by those contractors who came to remedy your initial defects? Or those defects which you might have overlooked? According to what i've gathered, it seems that for those defects we overlooked and didn't submit it to the TO, we wouldnt get another chance to resubmit again. So isit true? Or case by case basis?

My HDB officer just rang me (less than 10mins ago), say that the contractor are still rectifying my unit (not yet ready), so only end sep then can get keys. Reason why my neighbour got theirs earlier, coz they book their units earlier...crap lo... anyway don't wanna argue much, since she said end sep, then i LL got to wait lo (console myself saying 7th mth cannot collect keys lo)

it's a brand new unit. During Apr Bi Monthly sale, #07/08/09-178 are available for selection, thus i'm very sure it's brand new. This particular unit even had windows installed at their balcony already, so i would say they are very soon nearing completion of their reno. This is so unfuriating We are tax-payers too, and how come some are entitled to 'jump queue'

Went to my unit last night to take a look. Then i realised my neighbour, staying above me(who also just gotten his/her unit during the Apr Bi Mthly sale). They have actually started their reno since 10th July . They have this renovation notice pasted on their door, even their balcony windows have been installed! I'm gonna start bugging my HDB officer Quote from their reply Dear Albert, As improvement works are being carried out to the whole contract, for safety reasons we are sorry we unable to issue keys to applicants earlier than 6 months notification period. We seek your understanding. I'm gonna ask them explain why this particular neighbour is able to breach the 'safety concern'

wow! that's certainly a great piece of info, fast rectification which also means we could also start our reno faster.

we are also waiting endlessly for our key collection too. But maybe this month end, we could hear from HDB (i hope)

no no, haven't . Photos were taken when i went to check on my unit few weeks back.
