    How much did you spend on the haiku? :deal:

    Hi the fan is really expensive. i got it at $10xx exclude installation. Unless you really like it, I would advise you to check out Fanco UFO which is a new product and the design look quite sleek and nice also. it comes with LED lighting and price is around half of haiku.

    Sorry for lack of updates on my reno progress again. Been real busy with work and personal stuffs..

    We are into the final week of our reno journey and this is the most crucial week! Many activities will be taking place concurrently and will be tracking closely on the remaining items to be done.

    Herf flooring from evorich installed today as well as the pretty haiku! Was informed by id that the finishing of the herf will be either a brownish PVC or a stainless steel metal. But the stainless steel metal provided by evorich was only to be pasted on the side of the herf and will not cover the top part. See below photo sample. Both to me was unacceptable and even the PVC color can't match the herf color! Luckily id found another metal finish from another supplier..phew and the result looks good :D

    Your folding glass door looks interesting. Will water go through the folding line in the middle? How much is it?

    Hi sorry for late reply. so far I have not check this with my id. But I believe it should have since this door is suitable for bathroom use. :)

    Bought our speakers yesterday! I know the right term is wireless sound bar hi-fi system, but I like to go back to old skool or noob (i.e. not hi fi geek) terms and just call them speakers or TV speakers.

    After checking out JBL's sound bar at Courts over the weekend, I'd heard and read about the Sonos play Bar quite a fair bit from friends and the papers – so we decided to head down to the distributor's shop yesterday evening. Glad that we did, even though I was quite keen on the JBL deal (came with a sub woofer) – the Sonos design was sleeker and I think the main selling point is that it allows the user to play wirelessly from different sources, not just the TV. Like from your iphone/android, you can use their dedicated app and play songs directly to the sound bar.

    I wanted to just get the Bar but the sales guy made us hear the sound differences with the sub woofer (sold out for now and we're on waiting list apparently) and surround speakers, and ****.. this always happen to us.. cos suddenly without the sub woofer, the sounds just sound..kinda flat. Wanted to save money and see if we could live with the sound bar first, which the sales guy said yes it's good enough on it's own, but a lot of customers come back and tell us they want the sub woofer cos.. it's just.. better with it.

    …And that's how we walked out of the place ordering the Sound bar and the sub woofer. To be delivered at a later date when house fixtures are ready.

    Congrats on the soundbar! :thumbs up: ..was considering this as well but price is above budget so gotten myself a LG nb4530a ;)

    Initially we wanted full casement frosted glass door for master bathroom. We wanted the glass door to be opened from the right(when standing outside facing bathroom). After tiling works and door measurement taken, it was found out that the glass door has a high chance to hit the wc when opening and closing. Thus id proposed a new product which is the folding glass door. Wifey and i quite like the design. Unlike any bifolding doors, this is full tempered glass door with 8mm thickness. They comes in clear, frosted, decorative color sticker and pattern stickers. Price is a bit higher so we top up the difference.

    For the switches, we enquired about the metalclad series from T&J for some industrial touches. Unfortunately, they are way above budget. Id proposed another range which is not white and maybe looks a bit metal? lol.. No topping up for this series :D

    I'm converting my current storeroom into a fully fledged shoe cabinet, so I need tilted shelves.

    I already have a quotation from a contact of my mother's so I'm thinking of obtaining another quotation for comparison before I make my decision,

    Thank you :) You got a nice selection of tiles in hafary too!

    The tile range really a lot and not easy to make up my mind during selection. If I know that, i would have gone over and take my time to browse the tiles first before tile selection with id.

    It has some kind of brownish wood like grain pattern and dirty look.

    It's not grey actually. Look kinda unique. All the tiles from hafary. If u need the exact model or code, I gotta check n get back to u.

    Sorry for not updating as was not in the mood to do so after my bathroom floor tiles got mixed up. Mbr floor tiles now became cbr floor tiles, cbr floor tiles became mbr floor tiles..lol. Was quite disappointed and disturbed about the issue. Id admitted his fault about the careless mistake and promised to give further discount. What done cannot be undone, everyone makes mistake, so has decided to move on and look forward to the completion of reno.

    Tiling works, gas piping and water piping have completed. First round of chemical washing was done yesterday. Today started first coat of paint. Bathrooms and kitchen accessories from gr link were delivered in the afternoon followed by ah boon who came for the first trip aircon piping installation.

    Wanted to find mirror cabinets for the bathrooms today but not quite sure where to get. Passed by lite fusion at serangoon and went to check out but they didn't sell any :(..

    Next, went to vhive at kaki bukit to source for wardrobe for the other 2 bedrooms. Was going to place the order and arrange the deliver in nov when the sales guy inform that order will be delivered in a week's time and item cannot be stored longer than that zzzz.

    Was going off and passed by one shop call wihardja with some wooden furniture displayed outside the shop selling quite cheap. Out of curiosity, went in and saw some interesting items for decor. One of them was the oil canvas Buddha painting. Without much hesitation, we picked it home :lol:
