  1. Hi, im turning 35 in july 2016 and planning to apply for 2 room HDB BTO as single. Right now, i need to know how much roughly would I need to save for the minor renovation works. Im hoping to buy a flat with Optional Component Scheme (OCS) where the doors, tiles and windows will be provided by HDB. So the 2 main things i need a contractor to do are kitchen cabinet with conventional oven installed and bedroom wardrobe. The 2 room hdb bto comes in either 37sq ft or 45 sq ft. Since the kitchen size of 2 room flat is way smaller than other flats, am i right to say the cost for cabinet will be lower? If i wish to install my own tiles, how much roughly will it cost? Will i need a contractor to do the wiring and pipes? Or is it provided by hdb? Will things like kitchen sink, shower, bathroom sink, toilet bowl be provided by hdb too or i had to get contractor? All i want is a simple reno worls. Nothing too fancy. Just a simple looking house with reasonable reno cost and quality. How much will i need to save? Thanks a lot.
