Hi LJW! I read somewhere you don't like warm or cool lights? You blast the house with all white light the head is gonna get dizzy at night...you can try a floor lamp or some other form or warm lighting as well. For me i cant really sit at the sofa and feeling cosy and romantic with white lights as it kinda keeps my mind in alert state. Hope all in well and the variation order kept at minimum! B.

Hi adversant, The kitchen wall tiles will crack depending on how you drilled it. Takes some slow drilling. The electrician cracked one of the piece when he drilled the metal socket onto it but i just leave it as it was to troublesome to change...i covered the fine cracks with correction fluid. hah. This tile is not the same subway tiles found in Hafary, I think they are not as durable as the real subway tiles. We did not put the bars for hanging stuff...we wanted to initially but somehow we didnt and i feel its quite ok not to as i just leave the usual pots and pans on the stove and bought those suction hooks from IKEA for some lightweight hanging. Hi Septh, We used matte so its quite prone to stains and marks...but its easily wipe off with a damp cloth. I dun see any scratch marks yet maybe they are fine ones which i can't picked up visually. Yea our kitchen is small and we are glad the fridge is over at the service yard so now we have more table top space for more unnecessary things. haha...We have solar films for the whole house and it helps to cut down the heat at the fridge area.

Hello LeonJennaW! i like the green in the kitchen. some questions... 1. how come the shoe cabinet at the door area the skirting is still brown ah? havent paint? 2. I think you shld paint the main door yourself...doesn't look right that shade. 3. the utility box area with the 4 door panels are you doing anything? B.

Hellos LJW! ok...short form looks wierd....better stick to LeonJenna....hahahha The tiles is cool and easy to clean but cracks easily...make sure to double triple chk and get your id to change all....i managed to get the tiler to change but overlooked one piece with web crack...if replaced the tiler need to hack it off which means the whole place will be covered in dust...since all my stuff alry in place i just use white marker paint to touch it up...also get the painter and tiler to leave behind enough gout/cement/plaster + thinner for you...you will need it to fill up the gaps after handover cos the tiler/painter wont come to help you on that. Mine got 3 outstanding problem... 1. bomb shelther need to cover the hold... 2. main network line not working....best part is the line is inside the featured wall...oops...not sure how they gonna fix this... 3. kitchen cabinet door need some tweak... other than that all is good. Hi renotalkers, If anybody think leonjenna is scam then i can tell you its not....who the **** go thru so much trouble using all the big caps and icons and elaborating the details....I too engaged calvintan after seeing this tblog but ephron was the one coordinating everything and i am quite please with his attitude. So it just a clash of expectations somewhere i suppose. Hope yip can resolved the issues with poshhome soon. I have shifted in to my unit for 3 weeks alry and I still have some outstanding work not done yet, still waiting for ephron to settle them...just give and take cos sometimes it the contractor giving problem not the ID. Hi PTopaz, Yea i agree its a bit steep haha...but they have some other cheaper system/model which can replace the default HDB hanger as well. You can take a look if you are interested. I intend to install grilles as well aft two years when the kid is bigger. So inorder to use the hanger i will need the grills to be slide-able...there are some slidable grills out there in the market so dun worry about not being able to use the hanger. B.

Hi PTopaz, I got the contractors to hack off the HDB one....my current clothing system is from http://www.ezziliving.com/?p=17 It cost almost $900 i think. They have 3 types of length for the rods, 1.2m 1.5m and 1.8m. Its quite a flexible system as it can be pushed out thru the window rather than drying indoor. I am using 1.5m rods. So far working as expected. Its a bit expensive tho. B.

Good day talkers! Some final pics for my house...been a long 5mths of reno. Finally shifted in fews weeks ago and celebrated our baby 1st year + house warming. curtain from J-B-Curtain-Designs. Whole hse cost $1150. Highly recommended Leon and anthony for their help. would not be getting a tv console...maybe just a portable roller shelf to house the set top box. part 2 of pics coming...

Hi Irene06 Wife has been using the fridge....i seldom open it. To me it seems a good choice if you dun have much frozen food cos you dont have to bend/keel to take things out from the veg compartment. Other than that the shelf sturdy and i like the lights when you open the fridge can see all the things at once. Their customer service is good as well as i replaced the veg compartment. There's a cracked on it. For stainless steel like the hob and sink it is nice but more work to maintain it as it stain easily. Washer is good so far seems to wash my tee pretty clean and doesn't come out as crumpled as i thought it will be. There are many features but i usually just use the 15mins wash and daily wash. Baby wash seems to use quite a bit of electricity as it bring the water temp to 90deg...dun really need it. as for the baron toilet bowl i like it...looks good and easy to clean and flush all the things as expected. the alpha instant heater works great...water pressure is best and the shower head has got lots of water mode....i havent try the rain shower model yet tho. the hob is strong only at level 2 and 3... the tv is a good buy...many features and waiting to hook up starhub and minix android tv. crestar fan is strong....very strong...even at level 1 i feel its too strong for the baby...need to ask if we can 'slow' it down or not...but during the day level 1 gives good wind.. spinfan is great....no noise at all...but need to hit up to level 4 - 6 to get the wind u need. thats about all the stuff i have...we shifted in for 3 weeks already....will post some pics of the place soon.

Hi harocarlos Can you show me how you connect the water pipe from the washer to the default hdb tap? My samsung washing machine default pipe doesnt match up with the tap. Did you purchase a new pipe or is there an additional gadget that you purchase to tie the pipe and tap together? Cos i notice you have something joining the tap and the water pipe...is that masking tape? Regards. Ben.

Hi Zen Zen, The white fan is $888. Plus led is $1038. Includes delivery and installation. MBR got a T5 installed as shown in the pics...BR1 and 2 does not have T5 for now...but we kept the conduit since xiao qiang already run the cables. The purpose of the air duct is just to make it look a bit more industrial...heh...and just to circulate the air inside the DB more since smelly shoes and router will be housed inside. B.

Crestar Icol. The light can brighten the whole room! We wanted a T5 and a fan without light....but utimately we are glad to include the leds...the bedrooms have all the same fan and 3 lights option. Washroom. Using osram led warm lights 10w each. Kudos to the electrician. This guy is xiao qiang and the uncle both make a good team although uncle likes to drink coke and chain smoke and throwing the butts into the toilet bowl. Super impress with their technical skills. Learn quite a few things from them. Feel they are super handsome when they know their way around flipping the switches and cutting the wires. Thanks to Ephron who went around buying and sorting out things that i need.

Wife prefer white light in kitchen. Need to work on the fabric cord....now its too stiff... We bought 2xBY7E and 1xBY1T (dimmer for passage way filament bulbs) IC switch to control the lights. This is a definitely must have...no more jumping down the bed to on the lights! And its cheap, ard $80 for the three items. For false ceiling its good cos you can just hide it inside...We don't have false ceiling so we hid it in the wardrobe and on top of the aircon. MBR.

Good day, Just installed most of the lights fixtures and the fans. Quite please with how it turned out. This SPINFANS comes with day, warm and cool led options. DB box retification done...added airduct on top and covered up the wall skirting at the bottom..foyer light is a DIY light fixture bought from Etsy. Most of the lights fixtures are from 2by2' Fiona and Etsy. Track-lights from posh home. T5 from lightcraft. It was a good choice having ceiling fans with lights. Definitely helps brighten the whole area. The dinning lamp is using rubber cords now...need to change to fabric cord when i purchase more. Free gift from Ephron...haha..in the store room...bright enuff to see everything... MBR entrance...
