Nice 3D pictures
However take note that 3D usually will portrait a bigger space.
My friend house face 2 problems after Reno:
1. Toliet bowl is too near cabinet and kind of squeeze for bigger size ppl to do "big biz"
2. Bed (King Size) and not much walking space between wardrobe and bed.

It depends ...
Some ID just do accordingly and while some will update whenever some work is done, think you can speak to your ID regarding this
I will advise to check the house every 2 days if possible thus if any wrong, easier to rectify it.
For carpentry, they will usually ask you confirm as once fabricate it will not be possible to change unless paying extra if I am not wrong.
Its important how you want to plan the interior (Compartments). Will advise you gg through and know what each part is for to prevent any surprises.

1. first picture should just let the middle be empty to the ceiling and and lights hanging from the ceiling.
2. seem not enough light feature in the picture.

You can send your floor plans to the various ID companies.
They will give you a layout of the things. Note that no color and 3D drawings will be given.
Alternative you can try go on websites to find ideas.

Haha ok ok. Well I just touched the hinges where the lights hang from. That part will be cooler.
Or you get your hubby to do it. Men kena burn also have to suck it up for maschismo's sake.
I never compare myself to the rest of my neighbours. I just assume that my house is way more beautiful and so I should do whatever works for us. haha. Also, its quite nice to stand out what. Easier to direct friends in the future.

My uncle have no problem finding my unit as the gate and door is too unique.

What I can think of is that you got to take note that the quote is complete with all things listed as some may leave out some works and add on which make them more expensive.
(Eg. Light installation, Carpentry mechanism, painting with number of color options and the type which you can choose and etc)

Still undecided to get a glass hob or a stainless steel hob.
Pros of glass: inner flame & looks nice
Cons: Scared it shatters or crack under heat or weight
Pros of SS: Easy to clean, safety issue
Cons: No inner flame for the brand i'm interested in, not as good looking as glass hob..

Hesitating to get these clocks. But they are 54cm big. Not sure if its too big for our living room.
Great design clocks but it will be hard to clean.
70% of the lights were installed yesterday.

For the white thing on Vinyl, it may be paint residue (Doubt so) and if it is you may need Turpentine and wet cloth to clear it.

Just an update that I have officially move into the house.
All work have been done except a carpentry board which is not yet sent to me from the carpenter (Small Issue).
Will update the house pictures this weekend when I am more free.

I am debating between this and the natural lancelot oak... (i like the oak more but like not very matching with my line console design)

I decided to bite the bullet and custom make my tv console...heart pain...
ID told me i need to decide on the laminate before i come back from my trip as the carpenters need to start work now to be in time for my installation next friday...together with my kitchen and wardrobes....
I chose retro teak dark for the cabinet and hope it turns out ok... scary

Can I not pay my ID the last payment?
He is supposed to complete my renovation before lunar 7mth.
I have been disappointed way too much. I will just skipped all the unhappiness felt before and during the start of my renovation. Cos the house is quite pretty now. BUT the final touch up? Delay and giving all sorts of excuses on the day itself. Only to find out things are not done on the day itself. "forget date is the most common excuse", "cant make it due to another site", "my mistake, i'm sorry". WHY KEEP SAYING SORRY WHEN YOU CAN JUST PUT IN MORE EFFORT TO GET THINGS DONE.
13 August i asked last of the last last? yes. BUT when no one turns up. I call than I know the tiler stuck at another site. I SPENT MY PRECIOUS DAY WAITING FOR WHO?
18 august say the coming wednesday want everything settle for me.
21 thursday evening, tiler came. but when i called than I know carpenter and painter never come.
22nd august say 23rd saturday 3pm. pls pls pls pls pls last last last.
ok saturday cannot, nvr mind.
tell me the date. tuesday 26 august. phone not picked up, cos landed himself in hospital. (overwork by taking up too many projects right?)
BY THIS WEEKEND? how many by tomorrow by this week by next week I have heard. I gotten my keys 7th of May, I signed my contract with them 9 of April.
I am so PISSED.
September 1st, not done, I will be back cursing.
