Priced at $2288
The Double collection is designed by Dutch designer Angela De Geus and is characterized by the double legs, giving the Double Dining table an unmistakable solid presence. The height of the table can be lowered upon request and there are 2 positions that the legs can be adjusted to. Placing the legs closer to the center means more legroom for people seated at the 2 ends.
Seats 8 persons comfortably.
Width 180 cm Depth 90 cm Height 76 cm
Brand New and not even assembled. No longer in production, only available upon special indent which requires a lead time of 4 months and a higher price tag. Solid walnut wood.
Selling as found it to be a little tad short after measuring my dining area dimensions, so I bought another identical table but in 200CM. Viewing available for genuine parties only. Priced to sell, not enough space to keep at home. Sadly. Its still boxed up and not even unwrapped yet.
This is an absolute beauty not to be missed! The walnut wood grains are really stunning and exudes or should I say oozes beauty from every angle. Especially when you get to touch and feel it, the wood is finished with a matt satin surface.. Smooth and extremely appealing.
Attention: Listing is for the sale of the table only! Bench not included nor for sale.
**Item listed is brand new and unassembled. Photograph shows the 2.0M table.**

lol. Thanks, cause it fits into my design colour and theme And I really like Samsung washing machine, been using that since like more than 15 years and its never fail me although its the top load type.. First time trying out the front load type.. haha frontload type washing machine like so cool
I bought this coz of the colour as well. Lol... all the white ones straight away struck off the list.
Yep yep about the front load. But have to be careful with suds and water from getting into the little hole at the panel where the door latch closes. Hear the salesman saying if water gets in, the circuit board or panel might get "fried" and then it's not under warranty.. something like that.

Talking a bit into the kitchen applicances
For the washing machine, decided to buy the samsung frontload 9kg/6kg model.
Its a washing / dryer two in one system.
For the refrigerator, decided to buy the lg 506L PLATINUM SILVER 3 SIDE BY SIDE FRIDGE
I think I got the same model as you. Your taste is good. Heee

Not sure if you had purchased the switches and plugs. Just to share what I had choosen.
This is the Legrand Mallia range I got from Choo Chiang. 2 different shades. LED comes at additional cost.
Ahh! Didn't know they have the LED type for Mallia series... Mine all don't have LED

Also choosing of some of the light switches and wall socket, however those are not the one I am really interested in getting.... Hai hard to find in Singapore.

Kitchen
Hi there,
Saw your beautiful kitchen photos.
Would like to check with you regarding the wooden plank that is just below the top cabinet row where you have the power points. Did you install that there so as to hide the box for the power points? How thick is it, do you happen to have any pic of how it was installed?

Wah and the shop I went to, told me Fujioh SG only bring in the 900. >.<"
Bump for you.

I went down to start taping up the painter's tape for preparation of painting of the striped walls. Really lack the patience haha, my walls are uneven and crooked so it really adds to the difficulty. I even went to IKEA to get their paper measuring tapes and taped them together, thinking it would be easier, but still no. lol... last resort, went to my uncle to borrow a secret weapon.... this little laser device that does alignment and projects the lines onto the walls.. lol.. gonna try it out tomorrow.

Waiting for track light.
Changed colour again.
-
Probably 2 remote drivers not working, lol. fail to sync with the wireless remote to change colour.
Same thing here.

Super impressive. Lots of concentration, focus, patience and time needed... W-O-W.

hello mrbytez!
your wife has good taste
hmm it was really hard work i must say because what i did to ensure that it was straight was to move my ruler down the line slowly. i use my ruler to measure the distance between one tape and the next quite consistently as i was sticking from top to bottom. it's not 100% accurate, but i guess a small difference is not going to be obvious!
however, i have seen people use a long string.. you would need 2 people for this. one to hold the string at the top, one to mark out points for the tape. you can tie a coin or sth heavy at the end of the string and let it go from the top of the wall. due to gravity, the string will drop and the line u get will be more or less straight.
hope this helps!

wow, that's gonna be quite a bit of work. haha.
thank you very much. will try that after we're done with all of the base paint.

use their bulbs. blow liao den use own bulbs lol. the track light can shine whichever way u want one.
Thank you very much.
-
Power. Now my wife is asking for pink stripes liao. *Faints*
How do you ensure the stripes are straight? as in perpendicular to the ground. won't like crooked or etc? cos my walls kinda uneven.. -
bro, you using the bulb for the lamp from the supplier or using your own lamp? Does it appear dim to you? The angle can be adjusted or is it fixed? thank you v much

Went shopping for fans @ Phylux. Specifically looking at the Spin DC fans.. The wood grain-ed design looks good, has a low ceiling to fan blade depth of 27cm or so. $988.
However when I went back to my place to take a look at my living area and did a measurement of ceiling to floor, the available height was like only 240/+. Installing ceiling fan will further reduce available headroom.. Might cause feelings of suppression... Should I go for Dyson stand fans instead? At least I can move it to the dining area if needed. -

yes. it is bought at $890 at Mondi, IMM. only the back and seat cushions have removable covers.
The sofa is quite comfy. not too hard nor soft. cant give much feedbacks cos we havent moved in yet...
Hmm, okie. But looks pretty good from the photo as well.

Hey bro, your hickory tiles look good. Surely it is much better than mine. Did the contractor order extra for selection? If possible, clean the flooring and check from the side of the tiles for warping.
Hee, got to wash them clean before I can get a good look. But the grouting space in between is slightly further apart as well. And laying of tiles in staggered and random manner helps too.
He didn't really order too much spares, I only have about a box or slightly more, worth of tiles left. Those that had more signs of warp were used as side tiling for the cabinet base.

Stairs.

Minor updates. Electrical works in progress and then comes to a halt for the CNY break.
Living hall area. Wiring for downlights.
Kitchen tiles. Current state don't do the tiles justice.
Cement screed flooring. All dirty and unwashed.
