    Next will be the area where we put the shoe cabinet and the bomb shelter is. When i peeked at the neighbour in front they actually converted this place for a study area. Wanted to follow only to realise it will be very squeezy because of our shoe cabinet. This is the view of our living room and dining room from the kitchen. And the view of the dining and (partial kitchen) from the living If you see that wall where I framed up my wallpaper there, I intend to buy some kitchen cabinet from IKEA and DIY them myself. As our kitchen is super small, there is very little space for me to put things like microwave, kettle and blah blah blah. So We definitely need some cabinet there. We went to IKEA and the staff said we can just buy the kitchen cabinet off the shelf and DIY-ed it ourself. As for the table top, we can also buy their pre-cut white table top (120 cm) for $45! yay to IKEA!!

    Been super super busy this week so I haven't really get any chance to blog. The final handover was done and my ID went to get married so any unsatisfactory work for the time being can only be rectified after their honeymoon.     Hi cugu, Well usually they will put sealen or sth like that so that it will make the wallpaper more lasting. Though they say cannot put in moist place I have been spraying my plant which always splash my wallpaper. But so far no problem has been detected like bubbles or color run or tearing apart. Must get the material made of vinyl I think... And your installer must be able to paste well I guess...

    I love planting, so when I moved in to the house I planted some things from the seeds.     Is the front supposed to be open? the electroluc guy just put the one at the back and asked me to put the venting kit to the window when it is drying. He didn;t mention anything about the front.Oh no!

    While I have much displease about his workmanship, timing, co-ordination, I was the one who suggested to put the fridge there.But then again, my ID doesn't really have any input for the designing part and most of the things like color n stuffs r chosen by us. They can't even follow instruction properly. I needed to wait 2 weeks only for my kitchen to be done. It's very frustrating. Well, I did chose that place because I wanna free up the kitchen where now is part of my dining. But kind of regretting that decision as my dining area looks too empty now after hacking the wall separating the dining and kitchen. while the fridge door can still be opened it does feel pretty weird because of the placement

    The installer charged me for 80/roll. I installed 6 rolls altogether. If u wanna buy the wallpaper make sure u use all the wallpaper in a roll as the installer charged them per roll. not per wall so that u don't waste. I have so much leftover I thought it can only cover a small wall but apparently it is quite big The Electrolux i bought the cheapest electrolux i could find, like 495? I think it's vented dryer

    I went to wallstory and checked out too before buying this from what I see the quality is totally the same. Even the catalogue they use is the same. Actually what I heard the one that makes your wallpaper lasting or not is during the installation. I hired this wallpaper installer Tony-96936789. They provide after sale service too and they dont seem to be short of people. 3 of them came to paste 6 rolls of wallpaper to my house and their workmanship is not bad

    Hi everyone, just want to share because I am very happy with my wallpaper. I got mine from www.theupperroom.sg Mine is Korean wallpaper the 16 sth sqm one. They r selling about 180/roll only if u buy more than 1 roll got discount. I engaged the installer that they recommend only 80/roll so for my living, dining and 3 bedrooms i only spend 1500 inclusive installation teehee You can check out my renoblog for more pics

    Well, we haven't made full payment yet and I did inform them the discontent and asked them to schedule a plan. but they always have new excuses that sometimes I feel they are quite cunning. Today the painter came to touch up but the painter saw that those things need to be plastered first so the painter called him. And he told the painter dont need to plaster just paint thicker. And when I asked him about it he was like 'of course need to plaster, how to just paint like that?' very contradicting right? haizz

    Next is the kitchen carpentry. There are 2 doors that were too small and therefore needs to be redone. For the records our ID promised us that the whole kitchen carpentry with the solid surface top will be done by last monday and now is already the next sunday yet the cabinets are not totally up yet.     After moving partially into the house for some time and everyday different contractor keep coming to my house to do touch up here this and that, I get really exhausted and disturbed. Firstly,I cannot go anywhere. Secondly, my ID seems to wash his hands off our house because we are at home and we can tell the contractor ourselves. Thirdly, since we kind of partially moved into the house the ID is taking his own sweet time to finish up the rest of the house. our kitchen carpentry has been delayed for one week now! Forthly, everyday I have to clean the house for more than three times since the house is super dusty everytime people do something. I seriously think the co-ordination is super off. We should do touch up skirting first before moving in the furnitures right? but because we were not told properly all the timing is off and many things cannot be done. even the paint touch-ups were disturbed because my ID sent his painting guys first before plastering. seriously how weird is that?! I am super pissed right now! Do all IDs have problem with punctuality or is it just mine??

    Hi tarzanboy, nope. the price is only for the product. I engaged the wallpaper installer that is referred on the website. He charged around 80/roll. but that is because I used a lot of rolls. the guy say the price depends on how many rolls we install.

    Lately I have been hooked to the drama 'you who came from the star' and is crazy for Do Min Joon's house. But it's pretty unrealistic but super nice lahh I wanna own that apartment seriously. check out his apartment! Realise his table lamp is similar to the one that my sister bought.
