you are right. especially when bbq or cook very oily stuff... can splash & wash the kitchen floor.

im preparing to source for few contractors this week.. can you quide me along? show them our floorplan & telling them what's our requirements will do?

the base is to raise up to a certain level (correct me if wrong) so that when u wash your kitchen area, your fridge & washing machine will not get wet. In short, is to protect your machine from getting wet if washing your kitchen area. i guess, better not to voice much of the design ... what if the owner see our views.. still no so good right....

We hvn't start to source for contractor/s yet. Because, prefer to get keys & see the "Real" flat/ layout than the "Floorplan". Able to see clearer else will be double work for the contractor. Maybe, will source & standby for good contrctors before approach them. You have recommendation? how about the rest?

ya, what our concern is the item may be outdated even is cheap or no warranty by then we collect our keys. So, perhaps start to design our layout first.
