Projector if you need very big screen.

Chipboard furniture from Ikea. If I leave water on it for some time, the surface layer can be peeled off.

For my renovation, part of my piping was concealed behind my wardrobe so in my case, I needed to install the piping before my wardrobe could be installed.

Check yafen.sg for reference. Prices and quality are good.

Interest rate is hawkish now. Better to take fixed rates now.

Power of a mother's love
In today's realistic society, a child's wedding is normally financed by the child and his/her spouse.

Renovation loan interest is very high at around ~5%. Home loan interest is ~1% so better to take the home loan rather than the renovation loan.

It is correct. I normally use an adjustable wrench to turn off the supply. Must identify which is yours otherwise you end up turning off your neighbor's supply.

Locally, you can check out yafen.sg for cheap and good LED lights with 1 year warranty and $10 installation.
If you don't mind the hassle and risk, you can check out Taobao and JB.

Malaysia Nippon paints are of different series from Singapore. I noticed that Malaysia products are generally inferior to those in Singapore even though they are of the same brand. That was some time ago when I did my renovation. Not sure about now.

6 brand new 12W downlights (bought extra by mistake, no thanks to my reno contractor) at $7 each. I bought them from Yafen LED Lights (yafen.sg) at Defu Lane. Her LEDs are from Taiwan so they are very bright and of good quality.

I paid $40 for my KDK fan installation.

Anyone bought LED lights from Yafen? There are some good reviews on her lights on some forums and her prices are really attractive. She went from an online shop to a physical shop and now even supplies other shops with LED lights!
I bought my LED downlights from her (not sure if it is the same Yafen) and used them for around a year without any problems. I saw Yafen LED Lights on some internet forum and I googled Yafen LED Lights and found her. Her LEDs are from Taiwan so they are quite bright. Anyway, I still have 6 brand new 12W downlights (bought extra by mistake, no thanks to my reno contractor). If anyone is interested, I can sell at $7 each.

I have the same problem. Now there are spider webs all over my toilet ceiling as the spiders are attracted to these flies.

One light shop recommended LED strips instead of T5. The effect is better and the cost is lower.

PM you. My opinion, when you buy LED down light, make sure that is good chips and driver, if you looking those cheap one in the market, $15 you can get already. But be ready to change it in short time, the driver will gone very fast. My point of view, there are reasons with the price. My 2 cents worth...... if you wanted it cheap, those HDB many retails selling. Good luck
Can share your contact for cheap and good quality $15 LED downlights? Expensive does not neccessarily mean good quality, especially for lighting products in Singapore, where mark-ups are known to be enormous. I have used my $15 9W LED downlights for more than 6 months without any problems but I would like to know more sources so I can share them with others to prevent them from being ripped-off. My friend bought his downlights at $35 each though his ID's recommendation but his downlights are nowhere as bright as mine after 6 months of usage.

sforshor, wroomwroom and syrawberry123, can share your contacts with me?

Hi wroomwroom and strawberry123,
Can PM me the contact? Thanks.

Mine charged $1K for tempered shower screen + tempered crystal glass for kitchen. I felt that it was quite pricey. I can PM you contact if you are interested.

Forget about Taobao. There are online sellers in Singapore who sell LED lights with 1 year warranty at the same price as Taobao with free delivery. I bought my LED downlights from an online seller in Singapore and the quality is not any worse than those that sell for 3-4 times more in those Balestier or Geylang shops. I have used my downlights for more than 6 months without any problems.

Beware of mould forming on the art in the Singapore climate.

My bedroom laminate has started to peel after 6 months. Don't know if it is poor workmanship or material.
