Hi Icer, Where u stay? U seems to know the place well. When i ask ppl about opinion abt clementi........i got friends who live sunset way and clementi, they will say things like," Just take it.......dont even think..........they wont shift to any other places.........so convenient..." Some others will say..........."clementi where got good, the price too high......its ulu, at the west...........where izzit?.." Haha, confusing...............

I couldnt negotiate for a better price.....i got this new unit from hdb...........through this year feb balloting..........i dont think hdb allow negotiation...........

Actually i always swim at my office swimming pool(cos i love swimming) but i still feel excited when i saw the pool below my block..........i like the place but just dont like the price. I cannot say dont like, just dont know is the price of 360k for a 5 room flat justifiable............ Thank you James

But i also think since i am trying to sell my present flat abit higher, so it is fair that i buy the clementi flat high. Dont know this thinking correct anot..... 1. do you like the area? Yes, i like the area. I have never live in a place so near to stadium, swimming pool, town central and mrt in my life yet. 2. do you like the flat? i.e. layout, facing, location etc The flat is ok. The bad point to many is that it is 2nd floor and it face a multipurpose hall. To me, 2nd floor is still ok cos all my life the highest i live is 3rd floor.... 3. can you afford the monthly installment if one of you got retrenched? before thinking if the flat is worth it, ask yourself these questions. if the answer to any one of them is no, then the flat is not worth it liao :no: This is a tough one. But after selling my current flat, i wont have much to pay for the clementi flat i guess..........but during retrenchment or out of job...........everything will be tough...........thats one of my worry also.................nvm, i still got until september to decide.........................

Hi, The flat my wife and i currently staying already 5 years old....so during feb 2007, we go for ballot a place at clementi........we choose clementi becos our schools (SP, NUS) is there, got feeling already......when our turn to choose the 5 room flat, we left only second floor..........we were told by hdb officers if we dont want, the chinese couple behind us very interested......but we still book the unit first......cos the amenities around our clementi place seems really good (can walk to stadium, ntuc, swimming pool, mrt, lot of koptiam). But now i just thinking is the price of $360k ok? And i find that not much ppl choose clementi, many choose bukit merah instead(cos i find many r discussing about bukit merah)...........clementi such a lousy place?

I want get higher floor but no chance, all is taken during my hdb appt. My block is next to clementi central & mrt. 5 mins walk to swimming pool, stadium, ntuc, coffeeshop etc. Is 360k still worth it?

My wife likes clementi very much. Me is neutral. But i am just wondering is 360K a right price to pay for a 5rm(low floor 110sqm) ? Is the price too high, low or just right? I find that 360k is about the price of a new flat in bukit merah.........how come the price of a new flat in clementi is almost the same as a flat in bukit merah but the popularity is not as hot? Just like to hear some views.....thanks........

I got a new unit at clementi Blk 459 for $360K (low floor, 110sqm). U guys think izzit worth it? I pay the booking fee but still got until september to decide. Pls advise....

Currently, i am living at punggol central blk 298. My neighbour sell his 5 room flat for 335K. Through balloting, i got a clementi 5 room flat for 360k. My combined income with my wife is 5-6K.

Hi good people, I intend to sell my 5-room HDB flat but i dont want to engage agent(save agent fee). Any one got experience in selling their own flat? My first flat(5-room) is directly purchase from HDB. Now my second flat(5-room) is also direct purchase from HDB through balloting. I know to shift 5-room to 5-room, cant apply for HDB loan. But i still wish to try for HDB loan, can i appeal? What are the ways? Thank you so much Rgds, James
