sorry.. hijack this. I do not want to install the Air con above my TV feature wall and behind my sofa. The only location is on the right side which had a horizontal beam across the wall. Should I use a ceiling cassette or suspended Type? in order to install at the same location i want as well as conceal piping

Hi all, Can anyone tell me if contractor uses any underlayment for vinyl flooring? I was told that by the ID that the contractor will place a foam on it before they lay the vinyl?
