  1. Hi HW, How much are the quotes from the IDs versus the contractor? I’m also looking at getting contractors as With internet, we can be our own IDs, thus saving on the unnecessary and maximizing the money used. thanks.
  2. Hi, is haller far east pte ltd = haller kitchen outlet? Haller kitchen outlet add is 2,jurong east st21, #02-04, imm. Thank you.
  3. yes the trunking, even the thinnest stick out like an eye sore. I didnt opt for the free opennet install due to this. Later found that a guy able to install the thinnest fibre line and self paid opennet to install the termination pt just to the main door. The supervisor said the $235 includes 15m of fibre into hoise n if I stop at door still same charges. So the fiber from door all the way into my entertainment room. The installer will tesf the signal to make sure no loss. Paid installer another $200 +.
  4. actually your router is best to put in a ventilated area instead of fully enclosed. U can check for the operating temp of the devices. Yr wifi signal will be weaker if u put in a cabinet. It is also dependable on how powerful the router is. Why not hang at the top like those office?
  5. so could u share wif me name of ID and the company? Thanks.
  6. Tell him u only paying $10 for this quality work and ask him dun be fussy. Pls post his name and company so I can inform all my relatives n friends to avoid the chance of engaging him. Totally irresponsible ID. The remedy I suppose would be tearing down the cabinets n he definitely will try to dissuade u from doing tat. It's your house and likely u going to live quite a while there. U will see this eyesore everyday. It's your hard earned money. Just be stern and tell him NO. I want it rectify. Not to create stress on u. if this happens to me, I would audit thru every single work done by this "industry standard" contractor to make sure all works really conform to my industry standard, not theirs.
  7. Is the 2 pics yr cabinet doors? I look at the 1st pic. So I suppose the side board where the door attaches to, is not flush with the top(grey color) I visualise when u close the door, will there be a gap there? I think there will be. U can go to whoever house n look at their cabinets to see if they also have the same industry standard. To me, it seem wrong measurements of the wood. If I am correct, then u should really screw yr ID cos he got no common sense and say my contractor said its industry standard. Likely that part is cut too big and to remedy it would be very tedious.
