Hi, Was just wondering if HDB allows shifting of the lighting points in the ceiling? A contractor recently told me that this is not allowed and have to use trunking from the original points as they can't hack the ceiling to build channels for the wiring. I would like to shift some of the points in the living room maybe by just 1 foot away. I am not using any false ceiling. Glancing at other houses in the area, the lighting points seems quite different but I don't see the trunking. Thanks.
