Actually this might be difficult due to the plumbing especially for the sanitary pipes, because even if they cover it with tiles, there would be an issue with smell and moisture, i am of course assuming you are living in a condo or hdb, but if you are living in a landed property then it might be of a different issue

You have any picture of how it looks? When you say the grout haze you mean that the grouts is also affected?

I usually get it from http://hcl89.byethost10.com or http://hcl89.atwebpages.com
What it does is that it polishes your granite and renews the granite and also helps to create a protection for it so that always remains new.
Hope this helps you out
Had managed to use the HCL89 product from the http://hcl89.byethost10.com site. I used it polish some granite floorings i had in my living room. Previously my granite floorings had become dull over the years of usage but after using the HCL89, it had managed to repolish my granite tiles to their original lustre.
Really extremely happy with the outcome of the product which had made repolishing my own granite tiles a breeze
An easy to use product if anyone is thinking of doing any granite/stone polishing diy

I think those black stains you refer to might be mould

Should be no issue, most contractors will know how to do it

but if they insist it is natural
From the picture you posted, no its not natural, you spilled something on the granite?

Isn't that rack made of metal? How you managed to break it?

Hi, is it normal to have hollowness in wooden flooring for new HDB flats?
Yes its normal, no issue

Kiwi polish on tiles, that will make your entire floor sticky
I don't think kiwi polish will help, maybe makes things worse

To recap from the feedbacks gathered, below are the 3 shops :
Thian Lee
URL : http://www.thianlee.com.sg/pro.htm#
Love the L-shape tubular shelves in black epoxy because chrome plated ones will rust if come into contact with water or due to high humidity in Singapore.
Need to measure my bomb shelter before asking them for quote.
Jin Yu
URL : http://www.jinyu-trading.com/product-listing/black-wire-shelving-page/
Did not see the L-shape when I was there today but quoted $135 for the normal black epoxy 4-tiers shelves(chrome one is $150). Delivery for an extra $30. Seems like a family business, the lady in office serve me while asking an Uncle(seem like her dad, speak Teochew) for the dimension/weight if I self-collect.
UNS

Miss this shop when I visit Jin Yu, which is just beside
Howell
URL : http://www.howellunited.com.sg/shelvingracking_2.htm
Have not check them out yet.
These shelves can withstand load of max 200kg! Not sure about those from Ikea/supermarkets but highly doubt they are stronger.
Thank you for sharing this

Bteer get qualified electrician to do, don't play with electricity
-
Yes, I don't want the paint to fall off... would be great to know if anyone has any recommendations on type of paint to use for tile to prevent mold etc...
I tought they haave a special paint for that already?
-
I think this you can only get from the same manufacturer that sold you intially
-
if you aren't familiar with electrical stuff I won't recommend you to.
Anyway, the colours are like here
Brown - Live (the most dangerous wire here)
Blue - Neutral
Yellow/Green - Earth
If you look at the wall socket (the "hole" where you push the plug into the wall)
Top is earth, left is neutral, right is live.
Tools needed, screwdriver, wire cutter (scissors will do if you have a strong one)
Ya that is is correct

They also have those tiles that have the same design such as parquet, that actually might be easier to maintain but then again its no parquet though
