Finally Decors! I finally have some time to put up some decors up yesterday. Was tied up with house chores everyday we put up a couple of wood frames posters i got a few months ago from TB on my TV wall and dining area and I am so loving it! & yes, that is also TB wood frame clock to compliment the whole scandi look! on a closer look : black wood frame for dining area : My decorated bedside drawers (All from TB except the mailbox saving bank): I have more decors coming up soon perhaps over the weekend, will post more photos soon!

Hello! I am very satisfied with them in fact. I read a few T-bloggers having issue with their sink (rust,choke) but i don't have this issue so far *cross fingers* and i use it very often and heavily when i am at home because i cook. I love the tap so much to be frank, the retractable head is so convenient especially when i want to wash the further end of the sink. I will PM you the curtain contacts!

bello neighbour! haha! no, we can't finish the bread so i share them with my colleagues! they are my guinea piggies. the donlim breadmaker menu is pretty easy and straightforward! just press which kind of bread you want and pour in everything, 3 hours later you will have bread! haha! You should get one! Donlim FB group is very helpful and a lot of pros there too! Some girls even make their homemade kaya using the BM. i am still taking baby steps in baking because i was a total noob before i bought this BM, i don't even know there are sooooo many different kinds of flour?! le husband told me last night, can you don't bake bread anymore for this week? i scared your passion for baking will die very soon if you bake so often. (actually i think he is getting sian to be my guinea pig at home for tasting the bread) Sure sure! You will be included in my guinea piggie list very soon once you moved in!

Review of TB big itrems part i - Donlim Breadmaker I will slowly review in separate pots on the bigger items such as kitchen sink, breadmaker, jooyoung pressure cooker, SS kitchen drawer racks & rainshower. I bought a couple of electrical appliances from TB together with my renovation items shipment earlier this year. Did not have a chance to use it until last weekend. First up, my donlim-T06S breadmaker! the S model features a auto nuts dispenser. I was so excited to use it to make my daily bread because i want to be able to customize my bread accordingly to my cravings and preference. & most important of all, no preservatives! The BM have other functions as well, such yogurt mode,fry nuts mode & even jam making mode. I only try out the bread functions for now since i am still a starter in baking. hehe. First impression was the menu selection was clear and very user friendly, without looking at the chinese wording manual, i am able to operate the BM easily. I baked my first loaf - sweet potato bread on monday & it was 80% successfully. The instructions was to add butter & potato mash during the first beep but there is no beep sound after the dough is form. I waited for a while till the timer was at 1:40mins and i quickly pour in both just in case i missed the beep. The loaf taste fine but the sweet potato mash was not mixed with the dough hence it ended up as a ugly looking loaf. It taste perfectly alright despite the outlook I did my 2nd loaf - banana pumpkin seed bread last night. I stand by the BM to make sure i will not miss the beep again and i realize the BM does not gives a beep sound for my model, in return the nuts dispenser will open the base automatically and made a very loud sound when it does whether the box filled up with nuts or empty. This is the signal that i am looking for that i can now add butter and other stuffs in! however, another small mishap happens. The banana puree is too watery and my dough is too wet so i kept adding plain flour to save my loaf! after adding countless spoonfuls of flour, the dough was saved! the inner is still too moist (darker parts) but it taste really good despite the small hiccups. le husband cannot stop eating the bread even after eating a bowl of brown rice for dinner. I will keep trying till i succeed with the kind of loaf i want. anyhow, this BM is a good buy for those who want to explore bread baking! Qoo10 sells it too & with limited time warranty iirc, under $60 with time sale at times. to end this, i present a simple 2 dishes 1 soup i made on monday. Used my AF to fry the chicken with daiso's soya sauce flavoured chicken powder. till next time~~~

@zen_zen i use Amcon for my sea shipment too, i think the fastest among the other forwarders? mine is a integrated washer/dryer from samsung. hehe. @neighbour yes yes there is a sheng shiong at PPV BTO & a kopitam there too. quite crowded during weekends morning. hehe. @oceanEleven yes AF is really a good investment! no more oil splattering around the house anymore! yes, i eat my nuggets without feeling guilty now. i am looking to do har cheong gai next week using AF! *cross fingers i will succeed. basmati rice texture is not really my cup of rice a bit too "liap" for my liking,maybe that's why they pour curry over it. heh.

heya! AF not only for fried food, but you can use the baking pan to "air fry" dishes like veggies etc. i saw people making cakes,bread using AF too. They are too professional for me. haha! Good investment for household with no hood like mine. hehehe. Wait for the Phillips sale if you decided to get it! It's so much cheaper! i got the latest model at only $249 (RP:$479) at the sale like a month back! Super worth it! They have warehouse sale once every 3months or so, you can check their facebook for details Yea, my block is facing the new BTO (punggol matilda?) my living room is facing our garden so it is not that bad as compared to my opposite neighbors. My korean FT comes out twice a day to vacuum the floor and it is still dusty. everyone told me it is normal for new flats! And Yes, i managed to hang my fitted sheet, quilt cover,mattress protector on one pole each, they dry pretty fast due to the hot weather even though my yard did not receive any direct sunlight. It dries up by dinner time. i try to keep my laundry before i go to bed if they are dry, cannot imagine the amount of dust sticking on my clean laundry even though i can't see them. Yes yes, I will wait patiently for your updates! I have been trying to spot your unit when i walk to the sheng siong at parc vista BTO down the road last weekend. haha! /stalker mode ON.

Hey neighbour! Yes, we have officially moved in with 7 large boxes of stuffs. These are just the more important stuffs that we need daily. Haha! Those small misc stuffs are still in MIL place! Will slowly move over when we pop over for weekly dinner. IKR! the dust really! I hate to see how my feet turns black like I just walk on a charcoal path. I only slide a small gap for ventilation that's all. no matter how many times I mop or vacuum, they always seems to be there Walao. I think this will go on till most people moved in. /sigh. Oh, the laundry! I use hangers to hang my clothes and hang them on the laundry rack pole so it can accommodate more clothes! I use the pole when I hang bedsheets or quilt covers. For intimate items I will kiap it on the daiso Round hanger which is kiap on one end of the pole. Hehe. Clothes dry pretty quickly during this few days I realize. I have yet to try the dryer function tho. LOL. My laundry days are on alternate days since we don't have much load now. AF is one of my top best buy! It can cook everything! U should join the airfryer group on Facebook and meet the pros. I use it to air fry chicken with batter earlier. Yum yum. No oil splattering around and no smoke! Hehehe. Go get one! Yes cooking is really tiring but it's satisfying to see le husband cleaning his plates! Haha. I cook he wash in our household but I will still need to spot check just in case he did not clean it properly. *tsk. I will try to cook as and when time allows me to. Cooking yourself is much healthier than eating out IMO. I am having brown rice at home which is not easy to get it outside except vegetarian & 菜贩 Stall. Looking forward to see more of your crib soon!

Post moving & other thoughts : The day has finally come for us to pack and move in to our new crib! Packing and unpacking can say itis a love-hate relationship because it is so tedious and tiring but at the same time its the start of our new phase of life together We managed to move most of our stuffs(important items) over in 7 large boxes and 2 luggage. We did not engage any movers and BIL helped us to move all the stuffs over using his company van. Save money but not time effective, i wanted to use movers initially but le husband persuaded me to move ourselves instead since we do not have a lot of stuffs *he thought so* (that was before we packed! ) We spend so much time cling wrapping & dismantling our bed frame & mattress and we feel so tired and had no more energy left to do other stuffs. So i would really recommend to engage movers for those who are considering DIY moving. I did some research on movers and was pretty much decided on The Helping Hands before le husband persuaded not to spend money to move. They do have an option of full or half load and prices are transparent & clearly stated on the quotation. I read that their movers are ex drug addicts and i feel this is a good way to let them know that they can still contribute to the society despite having a not so good past The amount of stuffs we had (not including bed frame and matteress): The amount of dust in new housing estate is really scary! No matter how many times i mopped or how many times my korean FT comes out and vacuum the floor, our feet will always turn black after awhile! i wonder how long will this last because i really hate to see my feet getting black as i walk around the flat. Anyone has any tips for us besides not opening any windows? I also did my first load (and many more to come) of laundry at our crib the very same day! I love our samsung washer, idiot proof controls ! I am starting to love the fresh laundry smell . We cook our first serious meal (besides maggie) yesterday : i am not a good cook, i just remember the taste of the dishes my late grandmother cooked for us when i was young. Just cook based on my memory, and glad it turns out good! Tested our air fryer with nuggets as well, i am so loving the AF! I am learning more dishes that i can churn out using the AF. This is the best buy! My Samsung fridge also does its job well! The automatic ice maker is i will always have ice when i need it!

2 more days! We are moving in to our crib in another two days' time! Finally hang our wood frame clocks on our walls! wr can finally know the time without looking at our phones! I also fix up the wood dear head from TB. It came in flat packed and I need to manually fix it up piece by piece like a puzzle! Chose this over the normal deer head because if there's a day where i got sick of the deco, I can get rid of it easily. Haha! More decos will up soon! 😁 Pictures up! Re-arranged my kitchen appliances as well and it looks so neat and tidy now! Need to get down to do serious packing for the big move! Till then~!

Recommendation time : (not paid to write this :/ ) I hate to mop the floor using the good old mop which our mothers have used. And i randomly purchased this spray mop from TB during one of my shipments and HOLY, it is easily one of the best item that i have purchased. Not only it saves water; the container of water+cleaning detergent can wipe my whole 4 room flat, it also saves you from backpain :no more going to & fro to the pail to dip and twist while bending your back. just spray and wipe, spray and wipe! there are 2 microfibre cloth in the box and you can take turns to use it, rinse it when it is dirty! I run the cloth under the tap and the dirt came off quite easily. There are other accessories which comes with it as well, have not explore that part yet though. My husband who hates to mop also gave praises to the mop! he is now more willing to mop the floor~~~ (achievement +1) I think this mop is very suitable for people who hates mopping (including husbands), they cannot give any reason not to mop the floor with this!
