Just received a call from Wihardja informing me my sofa and opium table are ready... so happy coz they said that indent order will take 4 mth but now it only take less than 2 mth... i will be going to their warehouse on coming monday to view the items then arrange for delivery....

ya, marble flooring will cost more than homo or laminated flooring but lucky i managed to find a cheaper marble which cost slightly more than homo so the damage to our pocket is still not too jialat

haiz... just called my dad to ask him abt the plank thingy... he told me that the thin plank will be very "weak" and soft after i drill 300 holes on to it and he is worried that plank might break and fall off the celling one day...

hi new, i was thinking of something like tis too. at least the wiring wun be visible. I shall drop by artfriend this wk end to see what material i can use... u mentioned securing the board with 3M tape, will tat be sufficient???

I used a netting fabric to hold the lights therefore u are able to see the wiring. I have marble flooring for all 3 rooms, dinning area and living area. Damage is coming to $11k based on my selected marble tile from SBH. Thank you We are trying to improvise on the look coz it feel tat it is too "blue-ish", shall see what we can do to it during this wk end.

the marble flooring is done from scratch by ah hui. we hacked every single tiles left by the previous owner... the lights are those LED christmas lights, we did some DIY and turn it into a celling light for our walkway. I think we have use too much of the blue LEDs, will try to improvise the lights during this wk end... we might be adding another string of white LEDs to make it less "blue-ish"

Phew... After 9 rounds of polishing, finally it has come to an end of endurance and torturing moments... Many many reasons for the arrival of this moment: 1] No much time left for them to polish n polish n polish 2] No marble material left much to polish 3] No heart to continue n see the marble being tortured again n again 4] No point already at this stage Nonetheless, it still looks alright after 9 rounds...slightly better than before...at the very least, the circular scratches/marks are not seen as prominent as before... Starry starry celling (Alpha stage)

My marble flooring after polishing and buffing, I still can see those scratches or mark that is left behind by their machine. I can straight away tell tat the marks r caused by the machine bcoz those scratches are in circular shape. Seem like this person who is doing the polishing is inexperienced... and worst of all he still can tell my mom that those marks are normal, even if she take her new car for polishing there will also be tis kind of problem.... wah kaoz... when my mom relate to me what he said, my blood boils...

But the red is those dull red and not the type of bright red which i m having... Most exterior paint are waterproof one right??? Thinking of getting those spraying paint, I guess that will be faster than painting the brick with paint brush. I need to move in by end sept but yeak cannot handover the place to me yet bcoz still got issue with the marble flooring... This flooring really is a big big headache leh... the marble polisher have done polishing on my flooring for 8 times and counting... They will be coming again this week and i really hope that this time round they can treat their work seriously and professionally... almost running out of patience for them...

hehehe.... rondy, u better dun take wor. dun wan u to get caught... i have managed to get 4 flower-shaped brick from a shop selling construction material. now thing whether to print it in white or left it in its original red-brick color.
