  1. Noticed some areas of my toilet tiles popping out for a while but decided to wait for next round of renovation since I've been living in this flat for 7 years and we're due for a renovation soon. Think I have to accelerate my renovation plans soon... BTW, these are HDB tiles... I didn't overlay or touch them when I done my first renovation 7 years ago.... The tiles are literally floating now -_-"
  2. Got mine at Meidi-Ya but I heard they can be found at certain Giant branches as well.
  3. Based on experience... it might work in the beginning but if you don't wipe out the entire colony, the ants will avoid the bait in the future.
  4. Those are the scouts. Kill them before they bring their friends lol. My home was infested with those small reddish brown ants. They like to build their nests in my old gadgets and in between my games cardboard boxes.... very annoying and destructive! I've tried the golden rooster brand bait before, it worked for a while then after that they start to avoid it. I've also tried those stick on ant baits... I think crushing them with my fingers more effective. Then I switched to 1Step ant gel bait... worked for a while but they started coming back and avoiding that bait as well. Finally eliminated them with Terro-PCO liquid ant bait. So far been ant free for almost a year now
  5. Yup, I also question their workmanship... I've had an entire piece of skirting falling out on one side in another room. It was not bloated or something... guess they didn't glue it properly :/
  6. I am using Supreme AC3 as well. I had some damaged boards due to air con leaks. I know such things are not covered by the warranty so I asked Supreme to quote me how much would it cost to replace the skirting and the damaged boards. They sent someone over to take a look. Apparently the color I chose is "no longer available" so I was advised to change the entire room's flooring. Ok... I said I don't mind if I changed the damaged boards to some similar color ones since that bedroom is not in use anyway. They said they'll get back to me with a quotation... they never did. After calling them again to remind them to send me the quotation and waiting in vain for another few weeks. I finally decided to live with the bloated boards. Guess they are only interested if I intend to re-floor all my bedrooms. Well... the laminates they used for the skirting... started peeling off at the edges after 2 years of use. During my next reno, I'll rip out all the laminate skirting and flooring. It's not worth the headache.
  7. Hi Tiler Seng, How much would it be if I require the following works: 1. Hack and retile 2 x toilet wall and floor (HDB installed wall tiles kept popping out, unless u can fix those then overlay which I doubt is workable...) 2. Replacing laminate flooring damaged by water from aircon leaks. (small areas in 2 rooms). If not possible, replacing the laminate flooring with homogeneous tiles (3 x bedrooms). 3. Remove laminate skirting and replace with homogeneous tiles. Living room + 3 bedrooms. Oh yeah, my flat is 90sqm 4Room. Thanks!
  8. Do tell us how the installation went and how efficient is the ventilation fan. I am considering for my home toilets too, a bit tired of cleaning off the black mold from the white ceiling... they keep coming back after a while !!
  9. Hmmm... I noticed the Hwa Keat Eating house in BMC and Dawson place are closed... they went bankrupt ah?
