  1. I see... Tat's good. West Grove quite a good school. I afraid my girl can't get a place next year.
  2. Hi, din login for long time. You can try Cherie Heart Childcare Centre at Blk 262, just across the bridge at Jalan Boon Lay.
  3. Hi rdnest. Thanks. I thought will have a student care centre. Our area don't have much childcare and student care centre, have to go quite far leh...
  4. Hi Hi, anyone know what HDB building at Blk 678A void deck? Could it be a childcare or student care?
  5. Hi, my unit also got cracks. U can ask BSC to patch up for u, but will be very dusty, cos they will dig a small drain at the crack and later plaster it. After plastering, they need to come back another day to sand it smooth. Anyway, after doing it for 1mth only, the same crack resurface again. I will let it be like tat, no use no matter how u plaster it.
  6. Hi all, so how's the complaint to Town Council? Any Help? I also need to do complaint, 3 out of 6 unit from my level chain their bicycles outside the corridor. My corner unit neighbour even place the bicycle beside the common corridor on my stretch which causes my kid of 4yrs old nearly bum into it when she ran to the lift. Also, they placed their "gim zua tang" burning joss paper outside. They will burn joss paper twice a month and afte burning, throw the strings outside my corridor. Got 1 morning I wake up and saw some ashes along my doorway, when i opened the door, alot of ashes laying around my corridor. They don't even bother to cover the tin after burning. Do you think it is reasonable to complain? I also worry Town coucil will quote my unit too, cos 3 out of 6 unit got bicycles, 1 unit not shifted in yet and 2 unit is near the rubbish chute side, so they sure will not be affected. Really suay to have such neighbours so near me.
  7. Hi, yah yah, mine same problem lor. Everytime after bath, floor area at basin sure wet, don't like it lor. U tink HDB will look into this matter?
  8. Hi neighbours, After u shifted into new house, u got realise any prob with taps and master bedroom toilet glass door? Although I closed glass panel door, water still will flow out. Anyone encounter same prob? Any way to retify it? Also, did you all notice the curb for the glass panel is not tiled? Will the silicon wear off after prolong scrubbing? Bathroom tap got 2 water outlet point (1 for shower head and 1 flow downwards). Although I off the tap, but the "button" i pushed downward, water will still flow out. Is izt the rubber in the tap loosen? Can HDB retify for us even though we shifted in?
  9. To my understanding Burmese teak is dark brown in color, cos my friend used it in her flat. My old flat used Indo teak, almost same color as what J.W.St 64 offer to me. So I am confuse when u said Mr Tan said ours is Burmese.
  10. Wow, that's a nice switch. I have not buy mine, now busy with scheduling when to move in sofa and checking on carpentry work which my ID is doing now. Will buy it and ask my husband to change too.
  11. Hi Roseberry, $2500 including GST or excluding? FYI, Mine living rooms tiles prices cutted alot from $3k+ to $2.3k, cos after the finish hacking the whole living room tile and they going to replace the 400 tiles FOC, my husband asked him again at $2.3k to upgrade the tiles, if he cannot give this price, we will ask our ID to do it. And to our surprise, he said OK but with GST added and tile skirting. You mean our parquet is Burmese type? Is Burmese better than Indo? FYI, Mr Tan is from HDB one. He is stationed at the site office (Heard frm HDB Officer). Mine also delayed for 1mth + and when we confirm we pay $ to redo, they did it very fast, 2 days after finishing job, call me to pass cheque to Ah Siang and I told him i need to check the flooring before passing cheque.
  12. Hahaha, maybe I din update in the forum I changed 600x600 tiles. Paisey Paisey....
  13. They allow us to change to small 400x400 tiles FOC, but we find the color and size not nice, sinces they have already hacked it, we change to 600x600 tiles. Their quote is $2800+GST for whole living room and after negotiation, they charged us $2300+GST and my husband let them do the work. FYI, my contractor told us $2.3k is acceptable, if he do it for us, will charge us $3k+. Hi Roseberry, did you check what type of homo tiles they giving u? If is 400x400 (same as those HDB gave in living room) than I find it abit ex for 3 bedrooms. FYI, I changed my living rooms tiles to 600x600 at $2.3k+GsT.
  14. Hi, was busy last week, today rather free, so login and see what's going on. Think whoever complain to HDB also no use. Cos back to square 1, HDB will always said they will lookout for it, but never do anything. Their replacement of tiles workmanship is not nice, we find it very rough. Remember to check $2.5k is with GST or before GST hor. I changed my whole living rooms quoting me $2.3K+GST.
