missy, my 2 cents worth - DO NOT settle the last payment until all rectify work is completed else you will face problem asking them to come back. They wont put you in priorty when come to rectify defects. My contractor (I refuse to acknowledge them as "ID" ) didn't even bother to follow up even with 10% balance payment and I was not happy to chase them (since only minor defects). So in the end I pay only after 3 months later after I move in when they completed all rectifying work at their own pace. Imagine if I made full payment, I dont think I will ever see them again. So 坚持到底, hold the payment.

Update - BSC fixed all my small minor defects (vent. window alignment out, shower mixer leaking, shower screen changed due to air bubble, change a toilet tile as it was chipped, touch up the edges of some walls also chipped, sandpapered some skirting to touch up some scratches) within 2 weeks (3 visits) so I guess I'm quite lucky... let's push this thread up again heheee.

dino77, I'd already moved into 989C, using both services you mentioned. This was achieved after 2 trips from their technician. You may refer to our previous posts which we had already discussed. I'm not sure about your block, maybe the rest of the guys in the forum can advise you. You may wish to talk to their CS to check whether your block is ok.

Hi all, Been busy and not feeling well again so never post recently. Spinball, I agree with you. Wish we can have both chidcare and 7-11, it's more practical esp for young family like most of the ppl here. If a baby come in few years time a nearby childcare is very impt. If coffeeshop, ppl drink there at late night, we'll have one more security issue. Anyone know where to write in to ask whether is there any plan for a childcare centre ? I need to send in my baby in few months time. The nearest available one is near Pioneer Mall, although walking distance but still quite far for rainy days. The one located at opp street is full, the one in the stadium is asking for ridiculous price...sigh So, who is moving in soon ?

Premium flat comes with premium problems, pui ! From all the posts in this thread we can see the amount of time flat owner spent to argue over the defects. This is so unproductive, waste of time.

guys with all these defects just making me wondering whether is it worth it to buy premium flats. I mean, if we engage our own contractor it's easier to ask them to rectify the defects as we are the direct pay master. I have some chip off tiles inside toilet, if ask them to change do you think they can provide the same tone tiles ? The shower screen also has big bubble seems that the layer of protector was not paste properly therefore there is air pocket. My shower mixer also leaking resulting low water pressure... aiya so fan. How to contact them to rectify must go down the center personnally or submit online form ? Thanks.
