my compressor was too big for the aircon ledge window too. the kitchen window is big enough though n the aircon ledge is just directly opposite the kitchen. dun ask me how they "toss" over the compressor, that thing looks freaking big. they hav their way, heard they put some metal board across and just "walk over" from the kitchen

i tink i gonna hav the same prb as u... i got custom furnitures all over my living room, then false ceiling and wallpaper runs through... i tink its impossible for them to install

Not to flame u, but if you already done your research 'along Balestier', u wont get 'cheated' I see nothing wrong with shops marking up their prices, this is business not hobby club baking free cakes that is why ppl shop and compare prices in the first place. I am a satisfied customer of Living Phenomenon myself, because i done my research and i only bought things that cannot be bought at other shops there. if you are not happy with the final price, dun buy from them which i glad u did cos if u bought from them, i bet you would go to the extend to go CASE to get back your money. pls do your research first before buying anything for your home. its common that some shops ask you to buy accessories, some dun, some 'package' some mark up high price give u better discount, some price their item cheaper but dun give much discount. with your experience with them, i wont call them cheating you but only that you have bad service experience with them. sometimes buying things depends on ur luck. luck to buy from certain sales guy. i rem when i bought my sanitary wares, i went living phenomon many times. different staffs gave me different prices too. in the end i went there so many times til the boss recognize me. lastly if you want 'cheap n good' stuffs, pls avoid Living Phenomenon cos their stuff are pricier than normal shops but they sell more exotic 'designer' stuff. n pls use this bad experience to buy electronics for your home too, the same theory apply. do your research, not happy with the final price, buy somewhere else.

anyway the price of 1.6x1.2 cost $35-$65 2.3x1.6 cost $65-170 all looks good, plain simple, just material used different

i went there today (5th feb) n reach the place at 525pm! the place was locked! luckily this young chap saw me "banging" the door n came back asked me if i was gonna buy stuffs so lucky... i got the exact same carpet at $80 i got from geylang serai last year which i think its cheap. geylang serai was selling $170 after bargain... bought 2 other designs too anyway the young chap told me that from monday onwards the price will probably go up 20% according to his boss which i tink still very good price, u shu check out there but if anyone decides to go there tomorrow (6th 7th feb), pls dun... because he told me that they are closed for the weekend as most of the staff go back malaysia for new year already... business will resume on monday.. so pls dun make a wasted trip... they hav 2.3x1.6, 1.2x1.6, and 1 more biggest which i forgot how big.. could be 3x2.3? they only open till 530pm everyday so bit prb for those ppl working like us. for 2.3x1.6, they have about 10-15 types.. those smaller ones (1.6x1.2) they have more range i tink.. they only accept cash and nets, if u go there around 5pm, pls bring cash... the netts machine was already locked today so i need to pay by cash, n there isnt any ATM nearby... i didnt have enuf cash in my wallet.. so i need to make another trip down to collect my carpet again next week hope this helps!

ya i oso notice some owners have a habit of letting their dog urinate on the pillars. my dog always sniff those pillars and i do not like it because i think eliminating in public is embarressing. though if u are a dog owner urself u will know that dogs are dogs, they sometimes do eliminate at the wrong places esp if that spot has urine smell. most impt is if its accidental the dog owner must clear up the mess! dog owning etiquettes! 1) taking photos is not solution, u might b taking photos of accidental ones or owners who are not staying in our blocks. might get urself into unnecessary dispute. 2) NO! chlorine will not work because it smells like amonia which dogs will think that its their urine spot. More dogs will pee there! best natural solution is to use vinegar and bleach. can request our TC to do it since we paid maintainence fee liao Should get TC to create more awareness n educate ppl on dog etiquettes. I rem they did put some posters on our lobby right? Sigh, I always tot sg ppl educated, will hav lesser of these kind of civilised prb. Speaking which reminds me I found TAU SAR paste on my clothes last week! i had found 'love letters', garlic skin, orange skin, maggie noodles packet before! I suspect its some PRCs tenants upstairs cos the love letter i found was written in some bombastic mandarin! Also I rem the last washing of blk 91, the cleaners scattered all the washing powder on the floor the night before washing. I came home about 10plus 11 I think, then next day 9am or so... the floor still have the washing powder!! Imagine those old ppl walking pass, fall n suffer injury whos gonna pay hospitalization? Hopefully this month i dun see such thing, else i sure complain.. Enuf of my rant LOL

really ah? not cos of workmanship? just realised yesterday my storeroom infested with booklices. ****... must be too many newspapers and cardboard boxes there... just bought those suck moisture box keep the storeroom dry... eeeeee i spray the whole can of shieldtox haha u guys got this prb? those book lice super small... on the walls.... its like 0.01mm small crawling... hopefully not termites!
