  1. Ditto on the remote draining battery. My brand new control drain the battery totally in 2-3 days. You can see that the little red LED is lighted up all the time, it should only light up when you press a button. The remote cost $70-80 upfront, crazy price. I got the control replaced under warranty, hopefully it does not go crazy again...*touch wood*
  2. Hi all, need some help please I am trying to look for a bathroom mirror cabinet with LED lights at least at the bottom of the cabinet, does anyone know where I can buy them? Something like this, which Ikea don't have, hope to buy them locally cause mirror might damage in transit if buy from overseas: Thanks thanks!
  3. I say no. there will be shadow at the ceiling when the fan is running even it is below the blade, saw it myself.
  4. people hide their air pipes under their shower curb, so i dont see why you cannot hide it behind tiles. Inf act, why not hide it totally behind cement and tiles? I dont think there is any reason for you to remove the aircon pipe, since it is only for the draining of water? If oyu want to go for 2, you can paint the white casing to a color that matches your tiles so it blend in and will not be so obvious.
  5. Hi guys/ladies, Never had this question before until I turned on mine! do you switch the compressor off when u are not using any fan unit, or do you actually switch it on and leave it there for good? what are the complications? Cost, lifespan etc.. thanks !

  7. Hi all, i am looking for a sofa and came across this shop at Space as well as Marina Square. https://www.htlsofaoutlet.com/ i am actually quite impressed at their sofa, seems pretty good quality and comfortable. Salesperson told me that the material are from Brazil, and made/assembled in china and Malaysia. Warrenty is 5yrs for structure, 1 year for form, motor/mechanism and leather. Any one know if the sofa that they are selling are good quality stuff? Any feedback appreciated!
  8. Thanks guys/ladies, this does make me feel much more at ease Anyone with the same issue pls share your experience too.
  9. I was told either 350mm or 500mm are the standard. I guess it depends if you are having aircon under it, or if u have a big downlight?
  10. Hi all, I have a situation and hope to seek some knowledge from the homeowners here. My resale unit is currently undergoing renovation and the contractor had plastered the wall of the whole place 3 weeks ago. A few days back when i visited the unit to look at the progression, i noticed that on one of the room wall, there are chalky white powder on them. They come off easily when i brush them off. I read that that may be the result of moisture. I am concerned that after brushing them off the same thing might happen again, damaging the paint which will be done soon, as well as the carpentry cabinet work that will be done on the wall (covering the area). The plaster guy said this is a normal occurrence, will be brushing it off and observe how it goes. Have anyone experience the same kind of issue on their wall? Appreciate any feedback. Thanks
