  1. I wouldn't mind having ERP or Wilson parking. This will definitely reduce the number of Free-Loaders at our carpark.
  2. Maybe you can feedback to them why our skygarden do not have card access just like Pinnacle@Duxton. I believe that the only way to keep out "Outsiders" is to have the 2 sky garden gated up just like Pinnacle. Both 79 and Pinnacle@Duxton are HDB flats with sky garden. Don't understand why the double standards by HDB.
  3. I suggest before we submit the petition to our million dollar minister, we should get the media, e.g. newspaper to cover our story and get some public attention. This will add some juice and stress on the Town council and minister to take our petition seriously. Anyone here got friends working in SPH?? It will be useful if they get a tipoff
  4. This sounds good to me....However, it may be difficult to convince other residents to sign the petition. Not every household will share the same sentiments as us. I believe many younger couples will be supportive but i can't say the same for the rest.
  5. Gated estates and card access are one of the best solutions there is for any high rise or public housing. That's why almost all public housing in Hong Kong has it. If one think of it logicalyl, Gated access means restricted entry to non-residents and would be criminals. This in turn means lesser crime and Police resources will be free up to handled more serious crimes. I wonder why the over-paid scholars and mgmt in HDB never thought of this simple logic when doing their town planning from the very start. Maybe the govt should headhunt some of those town planners from Hong Kong and retrenched those unproductive managers sitting high up there in HDB. HDB's policy of social integration is crab...The open concept of HDB flats not only integrate residents, it also integrate all the unsavory characters and criminals into our daily lifes.
  6. Hey Jacky, Dun look local?? Must be one of those so called "Foreign Talents". Mai tuz liao..... Call Police the next time you see them....Tell them if they don't do something, we will complaint. We should not let these "FT" foreigners treat our world class neighbourhood like their 3rd world country.
  7. Hi Yeoman, I don't have his email address. You can try emailling him at the general emal address hdbcarparks@hdb.gov.sg. No use calling and speaking to them also. They just try to Tai Chi the problem away. With the email, at least there's black and white. And if the situation don't get better, we can escalate this to the MP for our area with the Tai Chi letters from HDB Yup. Saw the auntie the other day. Think we came back about the same time. Maybe you can help feedback and tell them to step up checks for freeloaders around midnight. I know of a dark brown Lexus. This freeloader does not have a season parking disc and always park around deck 4B or 5B. Can't believe these "rich" freeloaders can't afford to pay for proper parking. What a disgrace. The driver should
  8. Hi Yeoman, I have been actively doing my part to inform HDB parking enforcement as I am really fed up with all these free loaders. However, it seems the vendor that HDB engaged for our area always do not appear or will relay a false report back to the HDB carpark enforcement call centre that these free loaders have gone by the time they arrive. So, we are basically playing a losing game against these freeloaders. However, you may contact the HDB officer in charge of our area. Mr THAM KAI HONG ( Tel: 65515660), HDB Carpark Section. We need more residents to feedback to HDB so that they can take more concrete measures. Hopefully, they will implement ERP parking at our MSCP. These will definitely deter all those free loaders and free up space for us residents.
  9. Hi Jacky, I think i saw this dummy driver park in the motocycle lots as well. Don't know how they pass their driving test. To answer your question no. 3, HDB parking enforcement is very lax in our MSCP. Last time when we first moved in, i would see them patrolling the MSCP very often. But lately, hardly see them on their rounds. If you notice, there are many drivers without season parking coupons, parking their vehicles in our MSCP for many nights in a row without getting fined. Esp on the upper decks. you can easily tell because they like to park their cars head in first with 1 or 2 coupons on their dashboard. For those who drive, now you know why if you come back later in the evening, you will have problems finding a parking lot. WTF, maybe we residents should stop buying season parking coupons and follow suit like these drivers. Guess we will save alot of money since HDB parking enforcement never do their work.
  10. Yeah.. there's quite a number of Free loaders at our MSCP. I don't think they are season parking ticket holders. I hope HDB will step up the patrol there...not fair to us who pay $95 a month and have to end up driving higher and higher up the carpark to get a lot. The person in charge of carpark at our estate is THAM KAI HONG, HDB Carpark, DID 65515660. If those of you who drives have any grievance, you may want to bring it up to him directly. I really don't understand how they do their planning. They obviously know that our estate is located near to HDB hub and many people will park here and walk over.. Best part is many free load by parking here the whole day with 1 or 2 coupons and the enforcement officers don't come that often. WTF is HDB thinking man.... This don't justify the $95 we are paying every month....
  11. Wow... how come the number of cars being vandalized seems to keep increasing despite police patrol.... That's the problem with living in such a convenient location....convenient for vandals and criminals to strike.....our block is too visible and easy to access. I suspect the vandal could be a resident in our block or live in the neighbourhood.....maybe green eye over so many new and expensive cars in the carpark... Anyway, this is what we get with neighbours who are bo chap and mind their own business..... It will also be very difficult to form a watch group with the regulars in this forum... not enough manpower...... Glad I didn't give in to the temptation to get a new car....otherwise, have to worry everyday.....
  12. Finally.. Forum is up and running again... The number of season parking lots have been increased but it's no longer full day season parking.... Now, non-residents can park in these Red lots from 7am - 7 pm.. WTF.... it's like LPPL leh....... Now the situation seems worst in the day... .all the Red lots on lower decks always full in the day (weekday).... Can't be every residents are at home on a work day .....Don't understand how the people in HDB make decisions....Simply wasting tax payers $$$ to repaint the lots and increase our frustration when coming back home only to drive higher and higher up the MSCP to find a empty lot....
  13. Hi Neighbours, If you should see any of these groups of Social Outcast drinking at the 8th or 12th floor sky garden, please do not hesitate to call the TPY NPC and ask them to check on these characters. You do not have to give them your personal details or phone number. If we continue to turn a blind eye to such problems and adopt a "Mind our own Buisness" attitude, you don't blame anyone if your family or property is affected should anything happen. We need to work together a community to drive out these social scums.
  14. I seriously doubt anything will be done even if we make the headlines again. Judging from the post made by she_888 and her postings on STOMP, we have yet to see any measures taken by the authorities apart from the usual patrol which is temporary. Maybe we should form our own vigilante group and if we spot the vandal, hammer the living daylight out of him....haha......
