  1. ok pipings out from hole #3 then into hole #4 and out hole #5 the is above the false ceiling. this is my water piping runing slope down into hole #6 this will be hidden behind the wardrobe. and the water pipe out into the drainage.
  2. the base same design... most of us at st64 doing the L-shape. hehehe well you kitchen is so much bigger then mine. i got problem putting in the big big mircowave oven in my kitchen. super regretted for getting that oven. now it makes my small kitchen even smaller. but will slove that problem later when i meet my contractor. now back to the Air con photo.
  3. this is a very nice layout flat... very condo like.... and you reno seem to be on track. This year is a leap year QingMing Festival on Friday April 4 2008 good luck.
  4. the drilling through the wall, metal plate then the tiles. And hole#7 in the MBR for the aircon, which i did not take photo. well with all these holes i run a very neat and simple piping for the 3 units. the first 2 holes is directly out from the 2 bedrooms, so that my piping will go out direct from behind of the unit. hence creating a perfect no piping in the 2 rooms. Hole #1 hole #2 ok its getting late and i got no light up in the house yet. so will have to continue later. TOC soon.
  5. here is hole #3 in the master bed room. and hole #4 above the MBR toilet door. goes above the false ceiling. and hole #5 to the outside. and is drill from the inside above the toilet false ceiling. and hole #6, for the water piping into the MBR toilet.
  6. Here the workers for the Air Con came at 10.30am. and its finally show time for me. because i spend 1 hr+ to discuss with the boss how to to run the piping and to have min piping last week. here is all the pipings and equipments. The first drill while the other measure for the next hole. after four drill holes then it is Hammer time! then it is hole #2
  7. Well my reno so far so good. slow but good job so far. The kitchen base is good and the aircon piping is perfect. Here is a better photo and close up of my base.
  8. well i turn on everything to the max. and still low pressure water. you know the tap with anti splash tap nozzle, i have to turn to max to see the bubble. anything less then no bubble... sian.... well my neighbours same low pressure. Hope they can turn up some pressure vales or the pump.
  9. ok i cancel the two heaters and decided to go for the storage tank type. hehehe.... lucky have not take delivery of those heater. i'm staying on the high floor, the water pressure is very low. (i have not install the heater yet) Now the water is like driping out from the provided shower head. seem like i have to complain and complain everyday till they increase the water pressure. not sure did they on the water pump?
  10. acutally we the buyer must stand firm. because we pay for the 'premium' flat from HDB those are factor into the pricing. if we buy the normal HDB flat and pay contractor to do the flooring, window, ect, will you accept this rusty, crack, dirty, substandard? i don't think so..... so don't compromise. what 5yrs flats... HDB did not sell to us at 5yrs ago price? uneven and bloated parquet, i think they need to change it. the above is just my view...(lucky my unit only minor defect)
  11. and during the SARS period in 2004. these fews blk were mark out as a quarantine alterative housing. Err luckily it was not needed.
  12. well i think it is built up in 2001.
  13. Happy finally see got work done... targeting to move on the 14 march 2008. here are all the cement and materals for the base. see the before 2 pipes? and the end result after the redirection of the washing machine. and the finishing touch to the whole base...
  14. well been busy for the last fews day... to date the HDB contractors had patch and revinish my 3 bedroon door. patch the chiped corners and he even help me to patch the grove line on the wall. had smooth the wall on many area, and repaint. main door patch but not paint yet. sorry did not know i was using 0.3m for MMS size for my HP. hence the bad quailty photo. today my contractor finally start his work. Construct 50mm high cabinet mortar base with tiles at edges and washing machine base tiles finishing. Here my contractor drew on the floor giving instructions and lay out of the base. He chip off part of the tile to buy the matching tile from the supplier at macpherson. the boss telling him where to run the pipes for the washer. see the pipe redirected.
  15. today the HDB workers came. here are some pix of what they done. clean the stain on the window frame. patch the crack line on the walls. pix not very clear... first he chip off the crack line. then he plaster over it. puting paster on vaious part of walls. sanding off the uneven plastering. and painting of walls. patch the crack line on the doors... today only do the bedroom doors. as main door, bedroom doors and toilet doors under 3 difference person in charge. (funny) The guy will be back tomorrow to sand off the uneven and vanish the door. so tomorrow i will be back to supervise again. well the contractor can agree alot of your defects, but then the worker come say this no need to change and that can accept. as i easy going, and the worker really do a good job. hehehe the painter offer to paint my whole house cheap cheap.... me still thinking.
  16. i did not check on the every piece of the parquet. just tap tap here and there... so far ok. i believe that the flooring, door, toilet, ect are done up abt 5yrs ago. hence you see the skirting darker in colour tone. because they only sand and resurface the parquet floor and not the skirting.
  17. yes keep in the HSS, TV & oven in the living room, and washer & refrigerator in the kitchen. today the HDB contractor doing the defects, no choice i have to be there the whole day. will post photos. my contractor will start this week too.
  18. Actually wanted to buy the below ceiling fan... the Blossom (2nd generation, not sure whats the model name) but too low and too modern. so got the more zen style one... The Empire! for the living room
  19. Here are the Lights that i bought. for the 3 bedrooms for the 2 baths and shelter room the bedrooms' one are bigger. there are the colour trim gives a nice colour to the ceiling. if only got more colour to choose, then can put according to feng shui in different room. for the kitchen for the front door entrance (foyer area). the black one for the dinning area
  20. ok on sat 16th Feb 2008 we did our Dong Tu in the morning. So this week my contractor and HDB contractor can start work. The HBD people tomorrow going over to do up all the defects. We not doing the flooring, hence my contractor drill holes on the wall. This is to hide my wires as i'm not doing any TV feature wall.
  21. Not sure is it more powerful... but was told that protek comes with the Spa shower head. (that was why i buy) for the compact or some other brand heater, cannot support the Spa shower head even you change it, not sure true or not. Maybe after i move in i will test it out.
  22. common toilet, there is already a space allocated for a storage heater. i know that i saw the the hot water point there jointed with a U pipe. i even open up the metal ceiling to see if can cut hole and mount it there.(possible) i guess its better to confirm with the HDB and your contractor, about the wall behind the tiles. Hope everything is siew siew.... than maybe i will ask my contractor to check out how you mount it, so i can change to storage tank too. he scare after a few mths the tank drop down, hence ask me to buy 2 heater.
  23. 2 sets of toilet seat covers with motifs Hehehe, i alos thinking of changing, the selling @$88 for 2? 1 set of 30L storage heater Err.... did you check with the contractor about this? or maybe check with the HDB people. as our toilet wall is those hollow type, where behind all the tiles are 'metal plate'. not sure what is the gaps between the tiles metal and the concrete wall. (that is why i got 2 heater instead of storage heater, Err is 30L enough?) Hence you might need some very strong long screws to hold it in place. Or maybe put it in the ketchen and have to do lots of repiping. Do keep me updated if it can be done easily... because my heaters will only come 8 march, still got time to change..... hehehehe
  24. ok some new additional of purchases done over the week end. Ceiling fan from Fanco 56" Empire AB Water heater from 707 Compact and protek Common bath Master bath Lighting for the whole house, and a few other stuffs. (photo will be upload tomorrow)
  25. gain city @$1060 lazy to go hunt around, as its cheaper then best and HN, i just buy.
