yes, u'll get the $2000 back on the day of 2nd signing... bring yr bank book so they can credit into yr bank account how come yrs is approved so fast? i applied on the 25th when I selected the flat, it's still processing

tip from bchew is to bring your bank book if u want HDB to credit the $2000 option fee into yr bank account

you have to log into http://www.hdb.gov.sg/MyHDBPage and see your HLE status... I believe everybody's status is "HDB will invite you to sign the Agreement for Lease in due course." since we already paid the $2000 option fee

HDB is currently processing my HLE application. They will inform me on the outcome of the application in due course.

apply HLE to be eligible to sign the lease of agreement... even when yr income rise to 8k upon collection of keys, it is still valid... maybe can re-finance for a shorter payment period?

the idea is to pay as much downpayment as possible, that's y I only wanna shift in next June at the earliest

The maximum loan repayment period is 65 years minus your age or 30 years, whichever is shorter

if aged above 30, the period of loan will also be shorter

no worries... as long as you & your partner draw a steady income, I dun see y HDB will reject our application
