  1. Supreme workmanship is crap at best. I relaminate 2 of my bedrooms as I'm taking away the old platform. Chose supreme as they are the only one with the color closest to my current laminate in the masterbedroom. Salesperson promise warranty against bloatedness and uneven floor. The result after the first job- Uneven planks, bloatedness after 1 day!! gaps. Called them down to retify and asked for their best workers. Most problems rectified although some areas still having that floating feeling and uneveness. Again noticed 1 or 2 planks having bloatedness and had to call them down. They mentioned that this is not under warranty and it is not until i threaten them with lawsuit using lemon law that they come down grudgingly. Do think twice before using supreme 1) Promise you everything but can't deliver 2) Product quality issue despite claims of iso this and that 3) dubious warranty My next laminate change years down the road will be european brands ONLY
  2. hi newbie, i am in the same situation as you and looking to redo my toilet floor (leaking to mbr). Can you intro me your contractor at jacktancw@yahoo.com? thnks
  3. Andy is quite good as I've used him too. Patient guy not pushy and willing to compromise
  4. You will have to undertake a certain amount of risk when you buy from M'sia, I have very faint scratches on the dining table but that is a minor inconvenience since the table is going to get more scratches in the near future. As long as there are no major defects like broken glasses or missing legs, I'd reckoned the risk is worth it.
  5. Lorenzo in M'sia is even cheaper by almost 20% and the shop space is bigger than any I have seen in Singapore
  6. I've got my furniture from Miva in JB. 1 x 2M L shape sofa, 1 x Coffee table with 2 chairs, 1 x Dining table with 6 chairs. Total plus transport and tax is 3K plus SGD. Would cost me upwards of 5K if i were to get similar items in Singapore and from OM.
  7. TPY, do you still have ur deposit slip with you? If so, go straight to small claims tribunal instead of CASE. Case is generally useless in my opinion, all bark and no bite. You can lodge complain on this outlet for breach of duties on their part to deliver. Can at least get back your deposit as long as you can prove that actions taken by them has caused duress on your end to give up the deposit. Know your consumer rights and practise it
  8. Got the same response as you. Called them more then 5 times to 3 different designers over a period of 2 weeks and all are unable to give me a quote. Busy is the reason given by all of them so I reckoned the more popular the ID firm "online", the busier they are and they can afford to lose some customers along the way. Brought my business elsewhere and am quite satisfied with my current ID.
