I had the same fear as U 1 month back, however my ID say he is too busy as some other project of his screw up. I only got the drawing 2 weeks after the plan date. My works will begin next week but till now my ID have only briefly told me about number of weeks for each type of work ie carpentry, electrical n painting. He also told me to meet up with him 1 day a week on site so that he can go thru with us the progress. As a significant amount of investment, I guess all the people will have this concern with the slightest amount of delay.

Initially my list was so long that I can't use the Internet Service that I need to submit the list by hand to branch office... U mean I can still log the defects on my HDB page even after I have intially reported it?

More picture... Kitchen not done yet as the tiles provided by HDB is not to my liking so I got my own tiles Common Bathroom P.s. Veri upset with HDB today... I had left a key with the TO so that he and his contractor can have access to my house. My kitchen is still not done yet (As it should be done on last Tue) as the Contractor claim he have not got the key despite the fact I personally instructed the TO to give to key to the contractor 2 weeks ago. The contractor also did not do bother to connect back the waterpoint in my toilets (See pic abv) and left all the debris inside the toilets. (Had personally instructed him to clean up before start of relaying tiles. Had ask the TO to get someone to patch up the wall near to the skirting as it is damage during the hacking of floor tiles but it was also badly done. Couldn't find a single person on Fri and I will make sure my point is make on Mon...

Hi Max383, as for the TV there should be no wire as it will be fully concealed. The DVD player will also be place in a special way will post some pict soon to illustrate. The TV will be an entirely flat profile. My ID had also suggested the initial config that you hav mention but my wife find it a bit weird. We settled for this design after plenty of discussion. P.s. Dun worry Max383, I am keen on all feedback as after all this forum is for discussion and ideas.

Thanks for yr feedback. According to my ID the placement of the TV and the display cabinet is to ensure a cont flow in design and to have 3 distinct areas. IE Tea Corner, Display Gallery and TV area. I will also be setting up a PC with Wireless Keyboard and mouse control from the sofa so will have a connection drop if it's too far away. ID was also telling me the TV swivel is not too good cause when the TV move left or right the cable tend to spoil faster as it is twisted. Dun know how true is it though...

Here is my furniture plan. Will hack the BR3 wall to push out into the "corridor" to make it bigger. The sliding panel into BR3 and MBR will also be a feature wall Study Room(BR 2) will be accesible via BR3 and MBR with a dual locking mechanism door (a simple latch on one side) to ensure complete privacy Will hack the kitchen side wall to turn it into an open concept kitchen

Thanks for the tips. Have initially identifiy all the needs and wants but both of us always have the urge to go for the wants. My mahjong table will go into one of the BR or Study Room. The Service we will cater the usual stuff like WM and maybe a wet kitchen. Was initially toying with the idea of doing ironing at the Service but my wife don't really like the concept. !! Yes I did. The tiles are of quite good quality. I hav heard my frens buying units in SK and PG who hav similar prob but the tiles are of inferior quality. 3 Colors to choose from and in the end selected the white one. Also ask to see the homo tiles and need to fork out additional 2.3K but in the end decided against it as it dosen't seems much of a diff to us and can spend the xtra $$ somewhere else. Yes! Yes! Went to see the rainshower already n most likely will be getting that as well!

As there are scratches in the living room tiles and a few chip off tiles in the MBR, HDB got no choice but to replace the whole unit's tiles as they wouldn't hav stocks for the house existing tiles, it was a yucky beige color. Was initially worried that a WIW will not be feasible but was assured by my ID it's going to be just fine. Will also be including a bath tub in my MBR. Nothing beats a relaxing soak in the tub after a hard's day work

Welcome Max 383! As what you have mention cannot hack the wall in BR 3, haiz but my ID hav already suggested something that both me and my wife to be is excited about. Hope I will be able to post some pict soon. Thanks for the info about the TV, Actually already bought the TV in the previous IT show. Got a Sony 40" TV for the same reason you mention. HDB will only rectify the defects to their best avail resources and at their own discretion. As of now, they have given alot of excuse and they are not fixing the scratches on my windows as it will affect the structure of the building as mine is a full height window. Not only that it will affect the house on top n bottom. Will provide more info soon.

Hav been surfing in this forum for quite a while gathering ideas but did not create an id. Cannot do any reno or rectification as it is too near to CNY then.
