    Option 1:

    Everything resolved by carpentry works. 1 fixed laminated panel + 1 wooden laminated sliding door.

    Option 2:

    Build back wall using hollow block + 1 wooden laminated sliding door.

    Please advise me the cost of each option and also advise me which option can block away sound better or both the same.

    I am still looking for reasonable priced contractor for this minor job. Now i have a better idea of what i want.

    As i have described, i have previously hacked the wall and door, now i need to build back for my baby's room. The opening area is around 2m width, 2.4m height (hdb ceiling height)

    Hi, just wondering if u r looking for a quote for partition wall or brick wall? Because there's quite a difference between the prices.. If the segregation is for say minor activity only, a partition wall would be recommended. But if for resting or doing study, a brick wall would help reduce noise more.

    hihi, if no hood, will the underside of the top cabinet gets really oily and sticky? so, if bcos no hood, dun do top cabinet, will the ceiling turn yellowish over time har? i also toying idea not to get hood as i really do not want additional item to clean...

Btw, sakae, you did quite a few area on cement screeding ya? or did i see wrongly? i wana do it on my floor, simply raw and the ID firm says i can get arrange with HDB to provide them the cement...then i can save $$ on the cement. is that right?? sigh, this saturday cannot join THUM cos we're going down expo AGAIN to check on ID lor cos last week went there few hours only, not enough. hehehe. Did anyone pay deposit to any ID firm without gettting keys yet?
