Hi, I have a scratched TV console which I intend to use @ my new house. Anybody have any suggestions to how to "repair" the scratch? Looking into self DIY only and not sending it for re-lamination.

Hi Clockwork, Can you please drop me a mail to frederick_chia@yahoo.com.sg? Thinking of engaging you to paint my kitchen wall. Looking forward to hear from you soon.

Not true that 3D is always nicer.....@ least it's true for my case (got 30% close to the real thing oready "tao chio"!), till we gave up on the 3D. Actually, that is called grey mirror, not black mirror. It goes well with your TV console, but I think there will be a joint line as it will be too big a piece of mirror to get into the lift. As for the one @ your dining area, decide on the color of your dining table & chair first as you might want to direct guest's attention to the dining set then to the mirror (if you can get what I mean). Also, there willbe joint lines....talk to your ID to minimise the joint lines. Btw, I'm not too sure of the 2 strips of brown reflective material @ you dining area next to the grey mirror.

Guys, I need some help in evaluating Sys 3 non-invertor aircon. I'm allowed to choose between LG, Carrier, Toshiba & Samsung. I'm more inclined to Carrier or Toshiba, but even so, both have the same power consumption & I also don't know which to choose. I cannot find any brochures for the Toshiba model. On top of that I'm given the extra choice of topping up $180 for Panasonic non-invertor Sys 3. Which would you choose if you are in my position?

There is no strictly VIP entry only....if u understand what I meant. We would not reject anyone who is here without any VIP card. Trust me, our staff discount is much lesser than this warehouse sales pricing, be it Pedro or C&K. Huh? Thought System 4 is supposed to work like that, ie, 4 to 1?

Nope, I'm also into IT gadgets, but sad thing is I'm working in Charles & Keith, so asking you all to come to buy everything so I can go SITEX. Ha Ha

Try to use Zippo fluid to remove the stains then use a wet cloth to wipe of the area. I have used Zippo fluid to remove some stubborn sticky stains on other materials & it works. I'm doing a sliding glass door for my kitchen which will be sliding into my full height shoe rack when the door is fully opened. However, I think PD Door for the kitchen is fine too. Just choose the frame color to be similar to your dining cum living room colors and ask for 2 full clear plastic see-through panel and it will be perfect. For my case, I couldn't do a glass swing door as it may hit my bomb shelter door as my bomb shelter is in the kitchen. For 5 rooms. I think this should not be a problem.

There are a few shops around LG selling ladders (including NTUC). If you want more stable ones, whydon't you consider a "step-stool"?

Bought all mine @ Hylite Deco @ Chinese Garden (located in between Pantech & Chelsea) as their designs are all so modern & "tech-ky". Spend about $1.6K in total. How I wish to buy all the lights....Ha Ha!!! Went Pantech & Chelsea, but their pricing not very attractive and their designs are all so common. Anyway, the owner is very friendly and gave us a lot of advices too on our selection of lights. Highly recommend her to anyone who needs her contact details. In fact, I'm surprised to find that quite a number of our LGians actually bought from them too when the owner showed me her sales invoices.

There could be various reasons such as impulse buying, doesn't suit house theme, tight budget, etc. Not necessarily because of the effects. -
Talk to your hood manufacturer and see what they can do? Perhaps there is one extension that you can use? You can also check if the hood manufacturer allows you to swop to another model? Last option is to demand your ID to redo the top cabinet...but trust me, they will give all sort of excuses.... However, after awarding your ID the job, you will still need to supervise the progress of the work youself as often as you can. For me, I always go to see once before I go to work & once after I come home (well, I have the luxury of just staying opposite currently). Hiccups usually happen based on miscommunication and no supervision. Btw, there will be more hiccups to come in time.... & you will be get used to it soon. Nevertheless, do more homework on the remaining items undone & see if you can minimise hiccups.
