Does activator KMS for Windows affect updates?

I used an activator KMS for Windows 10 Pro a while back and it worked great, but I’ve noticed my Windows Updates are acting weird. Are these tools known to interfere with security patches or major updates? Anyone tried KMS Full recently and noticed any side effects?
