Pressure Test (copper Pipe)

Recommended Posts

I hired a plumbing contractor to relay my old water pipe for my house and i was wondering is there any test to test whether the pipe is in order and not leaking water?

I googled on the net (Singapore) and i heard of this pressure test from PUB.

My question is, How much pressure is needed to test my new water pipe is installed correctly as accordance with the regulation from PUB?

I heard from my contractor and he said 100 PSI is enough. Is that true? :notti:

Thanks,

Joe
