Beams... Beams... And More Beams...

I realize that there are odd beams in both my living room and two bedrooms. Was told by the agent that it is a reinforcement because I'm directly below a corridor. Please see pics.

Anybody else have such a setup?

Could you share whether there is any constraints to mounting lights/ceiling fan on these beams?

Could you share your lighting concept, l-box or false ceiling?

I have a suggestion you can consider. U can either do only 1 side L-box or both sides, picture shows both sides.
