Hi all, first time renovation, can you share with us whether it is reasonable? and any possible hidden cost?

for a 4 rm new flat

1. to lay homo (600*600) floor tiles **** rm, passageway, and 3 bedrooms $5044

2.labour to install celing lights supply by owner, 12 lights $ 120

3.to relocate 1 SCV point **** room, $80

4. labour only to install 1 storage heater $100

5.to connect cold water inlet/outlet water piing for ketchen sink $120

6. do paiting whole house with nippon emulsion premix (max 4 colors) $1100

7.to install 1 10mm tempered shower galss (1 fixed 1 swing ) at master toilet $350

8. playwood laminate finished PVC white interior low cabinet **** room based on 10.5 foot run $1575

9.plywood laminate finished ABS trimming PVC white interior kitchen cabinet base on 16 foot run $1760

10 solic surface for kitchen cabinet based on 11 foot run $880

11. to install mirror with playwood backing behind soft 9*3 ft $702

12. to do acid wash on newly tiled are only $180

13. HDB permit handling fee $100

carpentry seems a little expensive... the one in the living and the kitchen cabinets.. but then you aren't doing much so that might be the cause...

3.to relocate 1 SCV point **** room, $80 (Are you going to increase the number of SCV point, double electrical point, single electrical point)

4. labour only to install 1 storage heater $100 (How abt install piping for whole house, stainless steel or copper?)

5.to connect cold water inlet/outlet water piping for kitchen sink $120 (install inlet/outlet piping for washing machine, washing basin, shower, WC sprayer?)

(U are having a storage heater so are u using it for kitchen sink or washing basin. If yes, the amount would be different)

6. do painting whole house with nippon emulsion premix (max 4 colors) $1100

7.to install 1 10mm tempered shower glass (1 fixed 1 swing ) at master toilet $350

Actually If this list is draft by an ID or contractor, i personally do not feel comfortable with this list.

It sounds to me like a lot of missing stuff and overcharge on certain things.

actually i feel, better to get the person to go to ur house n give a confirm quote..to avoid any hidden cost..
