seet82 0 Report post Posted June 18, 2009 Currently, I am looking at the ikea's countertop (solid beech,oiled) to be my study/computer table top. (2 pieces of 126cmx63cmx3.8cm) connected in a L-shaped supported by Gallant metal frame and T-legs. However, I'm concerned about the finish of the top. would like to ask experts opinions on: 1)Would it be sufficient to just varnish the wood or should I laminate the wood? 2)Any recommendation on how to varnish/laminate the wood? Not very familiar with the process. 3)If too troublesome, anyone to recommend to varnish/laminate the wood for me and how would the charges be? Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
