Hi, I need to hack off some of the custom-made furnitures (kitchen cabinet, book shelves etc) and parquet floor tiles and would appreciate if someone can pm me good contractor that I can hire. many thanks

Hi, did my hacking and dismantling works with them. Their prices were rather reasonable and they were helpful my rubbish disposal after their works which left a good impression. Try 91419249 if ever u need their services

can provide me contact of contractors for hacking services too. I was quoted > $3k for hacking, removal and clearing of debris. only for living & master area even though e previous owner have quite a bit of carpentry work. Budget only $2k.

Anyone know if we need permit if we live in landed property?

or we can just go to the construction site, "rent" 2 bangadesh to hack?

We received a quote from my in law old family friend but we feel that the price may be a little on the high side.

Would like to seek advice from the forummers.

Hacking Works $ 4,800

Upstairs -- hack off parquet floor

Staircase area -- hack off floor tiles

dismantle 6 nos.of door frame

hack off all the floor tiles at hall, studyroom, balcony

hack off all floor & wall tiles at the kitchen & 3 toilet

dismantle 2 sets of balcony's sliding doors

dismantle kitchen cabinet

clear & remove all rubbish.

Is this price reasonable? Note that it is a 2nd Generation EM. Total 146sqm

Here are the items he's charging me:

1Hack off existing kitchen floor & wall tiles $ 750.00

2Hack off existing 2 toilets wall & floor tiles $ 750.00

3To demolish 1 side wall to create new opening for common toilet $ 220.00

4To dismantle existing wardrobe at master bedroom $ 180.00

5To dismantle existing wardrobe at study room $ 180.00

6To dismantle existing feature wall, kitchen door & shoe cabinet $ 250.00

7To dismantle existing kitchen cabinet $ 180.00

In all, about $2.5k, juz for hacking! sad.gif

Is this amount reasonable?
